Sunflower: Oneshot

Sunny Sunflower

Both males were walking back from a mission, they indeed successfully finished getting the scrolls faster then they'd think. Making their way through a beautiful field full of flowers, Naruto stopped.

"Hey, Teme?"

"Hn?" Sasuke said stopping too since he was tracing behind the hyper blondie.

"Let's stop for a bit? It's a nice place to take a break" Naruto smiled, hoping Sasuke would agree. Sasuke just nodded, his heart skipping a beat seeing that smile that he adored so much.

Naruto dropped his backpack near Sasuke and on he went to look at the flowers, the blondie always had a thing for looking at flowers, Sasuke already knew this well because the blond told him, without Naruto knowing he studied every flower's name so he always had an answer for Naruto when he asked about the new flower.

"Teme! What are these while ball-like flowers called?" Naruto said picking up a pretty white flower and started walking up to Sasuke showing him the flower. Sasuke looked at his hand, this idiot. He likes flowers yet he can't name half of them.

"It's a white dandelion, Dobe"

Naruto giggled. Making Sasuke's heart skip a beat, he turned away before he could notice the small blush in his pale skin.

"Aren't these the ones you make a wish on? Sasuke make a wish!" Naruto said putting the flowers near his face.

"That's childish" He said.

"We're only 16 and 17, Teme! We're somewhat still kids" Naruto pouted, Sasuke was being a stubborn Teme again!

"I don't like acting like one, why don't you do it instead?"

"Hmph!" Naruto said before facing the other way, times like this he couldn't deny Naruto, he sighed loudly.

"Fine, give it to me" Sasuke said now rubbing his hair slightly, Naruto smiled brightly before turning to Sasuke again and giving him the dandelion.

Sasuke leaned down, reaching Naruto's face.

"Make him like me back"

He blew it on his face, making pretty seeds hit his soft tan skin before flying off somewhere else, maybe his wish would stick to him or something, Sasuke of course knew it was stupid but it was worth a shot.

"Teme! That could of gotten in my eyes! Why didn't you do that!?" Naruto rubbed his eyes just in case before looking back at Sasuke who just shrugged.

"I felt like it" was all he said.

"Whatever!" Naruto said picking up His backpack and started walking with Sasuke. Almost making it home before Naruto saw a waterfall.

"Sasuke! Let's go there before we head back! We can see the sunset!" Seems like Naruto didn't give him a choice this time, he grabbed Sasuke's arm dragging him up the cliff there the water fell and he sat down. Sasuke was still standing there, this seemed like the right place to confess his feelings, but the nervousness in his body started building up, he took in a breath and sat down next to him.

"Hey,Naruto?"

"Yeah?" He said softly back, he enjoyed the view.

"Do you like someone?"

"Yeah, but they'll never like me back"

Sasuke's heart ached, was it to late to go back? Probably, but this time he wasn't going to chicken out.

"She must be lucky" just saying that hurted his heart.

"It's not a girl, Sasuke it's a boy, I'm gay" he said softly looking away.

"We'll i love someone too, it's a guy who i have loved since i was 14, he's pretty annoying but cute in his own way"

Sasuke reached in his backpack, taking out a sunflower that he was going to give him but he didn't have the courage too during the walk.

"He has tanned skin that shines in the sun, yellow hair that matches a sunflower petal, did I mention his eyes? They are as blue as the clear ocean, he also has wiskers that only add to his cuteness, he reminds me of a sunflower, he's powered by the sun, he's alway energetic"

Naruto turned to Sasuke, he was blushing realizing Sasuke was talking about him.

"But I'm sure he doesn't like me back,but when he finally notices my feelings, he'll grab this sunflower, and he'll tell me that he loves me too"

Sasuke holded the sunflower nears Naruto, he closed his eyes expecting the worst, while Naruto was crying, this crush for so long had confessed his feelings in the cutest way possible, Naruto grabbed the sunflower gently from his hand.

"I love you too, Sasuke!"

Sasuke eyes opened in shocked, finally the love of his life was his now, Sasuke scooted closer to Naruto, grabbing his chin gently and kissed those lips he been wanting to kiss for so long. The bliss the two felt was simply amazing to both parties.

"I finally have my sunshine, the only one that shines the brightest in my heart"
