A concert which changed my life

Thunder

I woke up because of a thunderstorm. No one really knows that i'm scared of them, but i am. It became heavier and heavier each second, so i began to cry. Reesh, who had his arm around me woke up and didn't realise it in the first few seconds. Then his facial expression changed and it showed that he was sad to see me cry.

"Hey..." he said and took me in his arm. Then he put me on his lap and held me in his arms. I cried in his arms and he just tried to comfort me the whole time.

"Please stop crying. It kills me in the inside." he said while he still comforts me.

I stopped crying and hugged him. I wispered to him: "Thanks for always being by my side. Thank you"

"I will always be there, beautiful" he said and kissed my cheek.

Then we laid back down on the bed. My head on his chest. He breathed slowly. There was another bang of the thunder. I pushed my body more to his body. Reesh went carefully with his hand through my hair. He laid both of his arms around my body, so i'm really close to him.

"Reesh? Can we please stay a bit awake until the thunderstorm isn't that close anymore?" I asked hoping that he says yes. Many would have said no, because they want to sleep, but i think that Richard isn't like this.

"Of Course. I want my princess to feel comfortable" he said.

I put my head on his chest again. Then i grabbed his hand, put it in front of my face and began to play with his fingers. Reesh just watched the whole time. The thunderstorm wasn't that close anymore, but i continued to play with his fingers. I did this 10 more minutes. I laid my head comfortable on his chest and brought his hand toward my mouth and kissed it.

"Thanks for everything Richard" i said and kissed his cheek. He already was asleep again, but he was there for me the whole time and i loved the way he made me feel. The way he cared for me in this situation. With this toughts i feel asleep.

It's 9am and i woke up. Reesh is still asleep. I got out of my bed after i carefully got out of Reeshs grip. I didn't want to wake him up, because i want to surprise him today. I will make us breakfast for the bed. I went into the kitchen and started to cook, while hoping that he doesn't wake up and comes into the kitchen. Thankfully he didn't. I made us some eggs, some toast with jam and a freshly pressed orange juice. I went into my bedroom and recognised that Reesh is still sleeping peacefully. I put the food on my little desk and went to Richard. I sat on his side of the bed and kissed his cheek. Afterward i carefully caressed his cheek, so he wakes up peacefully and not forcefully. He slowly woke up and looked me in the face with a really sleepy expression. I bend down and kissed him. Reesh wanted to get up, but i stopped him. „Stay!" I said and he sat back on the bed. „Why?" he carefully asked.
I went out of the room and got the food.

"I made us some breakfast." I said and he smiled like a little kid, which got a toy.

"You didn't have to do this!" he said and smiled

I put the food on his lap. Then i got into the bed again and sat next to Reesh.

"Thanks my princess" he said and kissed my cheek.

"Thanks my prince" I said and smiled

"What for?" he asked

"For being there for me yesterday." I said and kissed his cheek

Then we began to have our breakfast. Richard liked it and so did i
