Lost, confused, wonder. Were all words Marcus should be feeling. The truth is he wasn't. He tried to be angry and upset but it just wasn't there. He felt unexpectedly happy and joyful. The thought that he could have a sibling was all that ran through his mind. Marcus knew he had to find the truth about this girl. The only problem was where to start. He knew nothing and he felt helpless. He picked up his bag and scraped his feet along the old oak floors as he left the house.
Marcus feeling hopeless and unworthy of the truth, went to sit in the 44 Syckelmoor tree woods. At the top of the woods he knew he would be able to see the whole of the town. When Marcus reaches the top, he sat and glazed at the town in wonder when he saw it. The tallest building in the town. It was t he department of child safety. Quickly, he rushed off down the path, not realising he left his bag behind.
Marcus reaches the gates of the child safety building and scurried inside. Exited and nervous he went up to the front desk to see if he could find his answers here .....
