Me and Jane were dressed as the worlds leading female scientist. I never really agreed to this idea but my dad, Jane, and Kana said it was best. Daisy wanted to shoot up the place, another side of me didn't wanna do anything, and I wanted to hack the system to let them out.
But no, we couldn't do any of those. "Hm, 'Arkwood government asylum. Never heard of them." Jane mumbled, looking threw some papers. I rolled my eyes, another side of me coming out, "Of course you haven't. Their a secret government ran test lab." Jane looked at me with a confused expression, "I thought they were an insane asylum?" "They are, but their patience are used for test experiments. Such as memory erasing." I said, fixing my glasses. She nodded and continue looking threw the papers.
Masky pulled up to the asylum and led us out of the black S.U.V. "God I hate suites." Hoodie growled, loosing his tie. Masky patted his shoulder and whispered something in his ear. Hoodie smiled sweetly and continued the walk to the front entrance.
We had to go threw thousands of security protocols that wasted a lot of our time, "Can you just let us in!? We want to see our new experiments." I growled, calming down at the end not to grow any suspicion. Jane pats my arm and leads us threw.
Cell on cell on cell. It seemed like it never ends, the same colour, the same door, the same place. It was racking my brain. Jane stopped me in front of a door, a different door, thank satan. "Here we are. Go in, keep your distance and observe. Then you shall move on to the next inmate." One of the swat members says, unlocking the door.
We both nod and walk-in, masky and hoodie right behind us. The room was dark and was lit by a two-way mirror. Jeff on the other side. I ran up to the glass and put my hand on it, I knew he couldn't see me, but I didn't care. He looked terrible, his hair a mess, his face covered in sweat and dirt, and he just laid there, not doing anything. "Jeff...jeff what have they done to you?" Hoodie patted my shoulder, pulling his laptop from no ware.
Jane and I were observing Jeff in his 'cell' while Masky and hoodie were trying to hack the security system. I pressed the microphone button with tears building up in my eyes, "J-Jeff? It's me |y/n|." He looked around with a scowl on his face, "Who?" My heart dropped.
He lost his memory. I shook my head with a small, oblivious smile, "W-What do you mean? I-it's me! |y/n|? Your girlfriend!" Jeff laughed and sat up, "I'm a killer, I can't love anyone!" He kept laughing and laughing. Even Jane was in shock. I banged on the glass, tears running down my face. "|y/n| it's alright. We'll get him back." Hoodie whispered, rubbing my back. "Got it!" Masky cheered, looking back at us. Even he was worried now.
"Come on |y/n|. We gotta get the others." Jane said and pulled me from the glass. I didn't wanna believe that the killer I love would possibly never remember me. I mean who would want the love of their life to suddenly forget about them. And this wasn't a case if he simply forgot. He had a chance of never remembering me. I think that's what killed me the most.
Me and the others did the same to Candy and LJ's for the past hour. Me and hoodie were in candy's cell room then Jane and were with LJ. They seemed perfectly fine. "So how did you guys not get hit over the head like Jeff?" I asked, no emotion in my once sobbing voice. Candy jumped skipped around bobbing his head, "I think because they don't know what me and LJ are. But Jeff's a well-known killer and human so it would make sense if they didn't try anything on us." Hoodie looks back with a face of disbelief, "that's the most profound thing you've ever said."
We talked about Jeff and how he lost his memory. One minute I would be crying about, the next laughing, and then soon nothing. I'm not a very bipolar person so I was very confused on why my thoughts and emotions changed so quickly. LJ's and candy's cell we're going to take longer to hack so I got on my phone and looked up my 'symptoms.'
D.I.D; it read. Well, I guess that explains a lot. Candy bounced but stopped whenever he would hear my voice change. I don't know why he's so concerned, "So you're telling me that Jeff doesn't remember you at all |y/n|?" He asked, his normally giddy voice gone. "Yeah, he doesn't remember me." I sighed, "How are we looking Hoodie?" "Oh um, I actually should be done...now!" Just then a click came from candy's cell. "Home free baby!" He cheered.
Now it's time for the easy shit.
Jane came running out of LJ's cell room with Masky and LJ himself right behind her. I grabbed candy and LJ and told him to make themselves invisible, "Can't have those fuckers up our asses." I chuckled.
I kicked open Jeff's cell and ran to him, "Jeff! Look it's me! |y/n|, you remember?" He growled and pushed me off of him, "Get the hell off me! Whoa, doors are open! Let's get the hell out of here!" He bolted out of the cell, only to be knocked out by Masky, "Your welcome."
Since my powers are pretty weak in here I could only turn Jane and masky invisible. LJ could do the rest. Normally, we would have broke in here, took our guys, had a full out war with the swat team and guards, one of us would get hurt, almost die, blah blah blah all that shit. No, this is a different type of love story. So grab your popcorn and drinks, this is gonna be one hell of a ride.
Sorry for the lack of updates! I'm in the middle of working on a story with my friend so keep that in mind. Thank you❤️
