I jumped on my bed and for the first time I thought about my life well deciding to leave my parents and coming to New York City was the bravest thing I did but coming here was quite hard at first because I was used to the slow pace of Egypt but here in New York things were always fast , when you eat it has to be fast when you sleep it has to be quick this was a city for hustlers but all the same I adapted quite well and that fateful day I went for a swim at a pool turns out Philip plien was having a shoot right there and he happened to be there In person and the models that we're to come didn't show up and the photographer on set called for me and asked if I was going to model for him I felt that wasn't what I came to New York for but I eventually agreed Philip was happy because I happened to have a state -of the -art body for his line and so my modelling carrer started .
