one day, in california, the Mikaelson family was hosting a party.

Freya Mikaelson was taking a woman named Celeste, who was a werewitch.

Elijah Mikaelson was taking a woman named Celia, who was a witch.

Niklaus Mikaelson was taking a woman named Chiara, who was a heretic. 

Aleksios Mikaelson was taking a woman named Clara, who was a vampire.

Oliviah Mikaelson was taking a woman named Clarissa, who was a heretic.

Nikolai, or Kol, Mikaelson was taking his girlfriend, Tessa, who was a witch.

Rebekah Mikaelson was taking her best friend, Claudia, who was a werewitch.

Hope Mikaelson was taking Josette Saltzman, who was a siphoner.

their cousin, Isabella Apicella, was taking with her best friend, Kay Nadine, who was a werewolf.

the guests all began arriving.

it was a terrific night; they had just finished the dance.

tessa began walking towards Elijah, "what's going on?"

Elijah looked at the witch, confused. "what do you mean? everything is fine. are you okay?"

the Mikaelson man quickly became worried for the woman he had always had secret feelings for.

"i'm d-dizzy and very nauseous." Tessa said, right before collapsing into Elijah's arms.

Kol saw this and stopped his conversation with a guest and ran to his girlfriend.

"what happened to her, brother?!" Kol spoke, frantically.

"she said she felt dizzy and nauseous, then collapsed into my arms. i don't know what could, possibly, be happening, Nikolai." Elijah spoke bluntly, when the brunette in his arms began awakening from her short slumber.

"Kol?" The girl spoke.

"Princess?"

Tessa smiled, "i'm alright." until her smile became a frown and girl vomited blood; right next to where Elijah was, still, holding her up.

"okay, what the HELL is going on?!"

Freya heard her younger brother yell and looked up, only to see Elijah holding Tessa, Kol in front of them; a pool of blood next to the two vampires and one witch.

Freya ran over to them and pulled Tessa close to her. "what happened?!"

Elijah explained everything, as all four walked to a more private room in the huge house; Freya being Tessa's support.

the entered a room with a sofa and Freya laid Tessa down; as the three Mikaelson's sat next to the unwell witch.

"Tessa, perhaps you should take a pregnancy test."

"what? my boyfriend is a vampire. he kinda can't procreate."

"Tessa, i'm telling you to take the test. nature has its loopholes." Freya told the brunette, sternly.

"alright."

"me and Elijah will take you."

"why not me?!" Kol raised his voice.

"because i said so, Nikolai."

this quickly made Kol shut his mouth and lean back into the sofa, groaning.

Freya helped bring Tessa to her feet as Elijah locked arms with the witch to help stabilize her.

"hold on tight." the brunette vampire spoke before speeding his blonde sister and brunette friend to the nearest store.

Freya quickly rushed Tessa into the aisle with the pregnancy tests in it; as Elijah waited outside.

Tessa grabbed a pregnancy test and Freya grabbed her; dragging her to the cash register.

"man, you guys gotta stop doing that. i'm still dizzy as hell."

Freya smiled, glad that Tessa still had her usual humor.

They payed for the test and walked outside the store to meet with Elijah yet again.

Tessa began getting dizzy again so Elijah picked her up bridal style; as he locked arms with his older sister, then sped back the the californian house.

Elijah gently placed the witch down, as they went through the back exit; not wanting anyone  to see anything.

Freya grabbed Tessa and ran to the bathroom.

"jesus christ, freya. i told you to stop that!"

Freya smiled. "you have to take this test."

"fine." Tessa ripped the test from the card board  box as Freya walked out of the bathroom.

Tessa took the test and placed it on the sink counter.

Freya walked in. "now we wait five minutes."

the five minutes passed and Tessa went to the bathroom the check the results. 

she picked up the pregnancy test and walked into the room that her boyfriend, Freya, and Elijah were in.

"it's positive..."

Isabella Apicella was now behind Tessa. "i knew it."
