"What is he doing here?" Asano asked in annoyance, he was previously waiting on a bench for his date with Ai, but it seems a leech has attached himself to her

"I invited myself" Karma replied to annoy Asano more, truth was he was actually asking Ai to go for ice cream too, but she rejected saying that Asano asked first so Karma decided to tag along

"Well show yourself out then" Asano replied, he pulled Ai to him but Karma grabbed Ai's arm. While the two were glaring at eachother, Ai noticed an fellow assassin near the ice cream stand that they were supposed to go to, the guy noticed Ai too and did a couple of hand signs. Ai got the message and turned to the two men currently holding her

"I don't want to eat ice cream anymore, both of you ruined my appetite. I'm going to the convenient store to buy some stuff for my house" Ai said and pulled away from the two, she made the two face their backs at the ice cream stand so her fellow assassin would do their job

"I'll take you there/ I'll go with you" Karma and Asano said in unison "Stop copying me...." While they continue to argue. Ai looked and saw her aquaintance had discreetly kidnapped someone to the alley, he will possibly kill the kidnapped victim but as long as Asano and Karma didn't see it, it was fine

But she was getting tired of the two "...I'm just gonna go" she looked to see the two stop and look at her

"Wait Seyri" Asano said as he took a step forward "You can leave Akabane behind but you promised a date with me, are you backing out?"

"Oy! I'm not letting you and her just go about on your merry way, we are rivals remember so why are you wanting to go on a date with a class E student?" Karma asked Asano

Asano turned to Karma "She is only subjected to your close-knit relationship because of whatever issues she has, but I've confirmed from the chairman himself that she is Class A material"

"Oh so a girl has to be smart in order to date you? Are you saying you wouldn't even like her if she was class e material?" Karma smirked as he got a flinch from Asano

Asano coughed a bit "...No, her attitude and demeanor is attracing me, so whether she is smart or not as long as she is the way she is, I will not be fazed by her intellectual level"

"But you'll still be upset by her low grade and treat her like any other class e student?" Karma laughed at how he got a glare from Asano from that, sure he would be upset over a low grade but he would never fathom treating her like other students

"Wait... Seyri?" Asano turned to get Seyri and go on with their date either way but Ai was gone

*sigh* Ai sighed and sat at an empty bench, she looked up at the night sky, it was still early into the night so there were no stars yet, it seems Asano and Karma's conflict took long enough to get dark. She doesn't mind though, it was quite and the sky was beautiful, till an ice cream clouded her view. She looked ahead and saw Karma "Oy, here's your ice cream, you happy now?" He also had an ice cream of his own, which he was half finished

Ai took the ice cream and gave it a lick "Very much so, but I feel bad... I was suppose to go out to buy ice cream with Asano..."

"Forget about that guy. He will make grades and school performance his priority, when his father called him, saying something about a meeting of sorts, he decided to go there instead to you, I mean really?" Karma purposely left out the fact that Asano looked very displeased with that idea and actually took a few moments of arguing with his father before eventually being defeated and deciding to go

"Oh, I have also have a meeting" Ai said as she went to scroll a page on her phone then started reading it while she eats ice cream

"Oh come on what's with that?" Karma asked as he finished his ice cream, he sat next to her and pulled her phone down so she'll look at him again "Come on it's just you and me now, why don't we go on a date while the night is still young?"

Ai pulled her phone back and stood up "I am busy. And I completely understand Asano by the way, we have duties we can't abandon, and have priorities. His are grades and school performance, mine is assassination and grades, originally it was only supposed to be assassination but Mr. Karasuma ordered me to study as well for the sake of a normal highschool life... I will apologize to him the next time I see him..."

Karma didn't really care about grades because he knows he'll pass due to his smart anyway, and right now he wants to hang out with her but she wants to go on a freaking meeting, he roughly grabbed her shoulder "Oy! W-..."

Karma was cut off when Ai quickly hovered a pocket knife inches from his eye "Let go of my arm? Or lose an eye?"

Karma shakingly stared at the sharp blade inches from his eye "You wouldn't-"

"Who's to say I won't?"

Karma gulped, he was suddenly reminded that this girl was not normal at all, she's a professional assassin at the age of 15, that must've mean she started earlier than that, the victim of her kills must've been so much to make her emotionless when they first met. "Ok..." Karma let her arm grow as she walked away not even looking back at him

"Hey, what do you think you're doing out in my area? If my friends weren't fighting and have seen you, they would be suspicious of my identity... well the other knows but still" Ai said as she scolded a fellow assassin next to him while he buries his victim

"I was assigned to kill this girl, and it was in your area, what was I suppose to do?"

"Make her move. Use the internet for pete's sake! you can say she won something and have her go on that location or frame a friend" Ai sighed "Anything just not in my area, I don't want to risk losing friends now that I have them"

"Yeah yeah, you have a shitty childhood and you're actually happy to have been ordered to be a normal highschooler as much as possible" The guy said "Look. Sorry ok, I'll tell the others to watch out for you're area. We all owe you"
