As Gandalf and Einna entered the little Hobbit Hole, a thought accord that seemed puzzling why a hobbit? Einna has to think on that thought later, because a moment later there was a knock on the door and Einna could sense a presence of a dwarf. The first dwarf was quite chipper seeming one, Einna liked this dwarf a smidge and the others that followed seemed just as friendly until the last dwarf, Thorin Oakenshield. Einna who was watching Bilbo fidget around and seem at odds in his home, not sure of what to do she got up and stood next to Bilbo for a moment.
"I think this is nice." Einna whispered to Bilbo. "Don't you think?"
"Hmmm, sure I suppose." agreed Bilbo, uneasily. "I suppose it is rather nice not that having company is bad."
"Live a little, Bilbo." I mutter, sipping my cup of tea. "I am here on an adventure as well."
Einna glanced at each dwarf as she thought of their names, Dwalin, Balin, Kili, Fili, Dori, Nori, Ori, Oin, Gloin, Bifur, Bofur, Bombur, and Thorin. She glared at Thorin sensing his anger and knowing his pain. She could do nothing for him, nor did she want to for that is up to him to heal.
After supper the dwarves started to sing as they cleaned up as well. Einna didn't approve of this but if an accident happened she would fix it. Einna knew more than she let on, to think that she didn't like dwarves this was a good start to liking them now. Except, the twelfth dwarf who seemed unpleasant Thorin Oakenshield. Einna would have to ignore him for the time-being otherwise it would be a very, very long adventure for her. After a while, Bilbo went to bed and Einna was deep in thought until Dwalin placed a parchment and a quill on the table in front of her.
"What is this?" asked Einna, knowing exactly what it was. A parchment of agreement, not that there was anything she wanted from them or could gain by signing it.
"Suppose, she doesn't want to join our adventure." sneered Thorin, glaring at Einna.
"I suppose I'll hex you if you want, Oakenshield?" retorted Einna, seeming agitated. "I want to go on an adventure, I'll have you know a witch isn't easy to kill."
"Really? They must be, if you're the last one." commented Thorin, sounding angry.
The other dwarves seem to find this argument amusing, for no one intervened. Gandalf was about to stop the argument but waited. Einna stood up, held out right hand over the quill and stared at the parchment.
"I think you're a thorn on a rose and you don't realize just how sharp you can be until someone pricks their finger on you before they notice the blood." Einna snapped, as the quill wrote her name on the parchment. "I will continue what I started until this adventure is complete".
Einna, walked out the front door and disappeared out of sight. When early morning came, Einna was sitting at the table waiting for Bilbo to wake up. Einna thought of many things such as her forest and it's contents or the adventure which she now dreads. She has no knowing what is to become of Bilbo until time tells. Would she really get to see a dragon or elves not that she wants to see them, or the end of this adventure with Thorin. Perhaps it would be a good adventure even though it may have it's bad days. Bilbo soon appeared in the dinning room seeing Einna sitting there at his table.
"What are you doing here still?" questions Bilbo, confused. "They left didn't they?"
"I'm here waiting for you, Bilbo Baggins." Einna replied, pleasantly. "And they did leave."
Bilbo soon notices the parchment paper on the table next to Einna, "They left something."
"Hmmm?" Einna looks at the parchment paper. "Oh? They did indeed."
"Aren't you going to take it to the?" asked Bilbo, uneasily."
"Why would I do that, Bilbo?" questioned Einna, smirking. "Is it my job to keep track of their things?"
Bilbo ponders that questions then signs the paper and packs a few things as quickly as possible, "We should hurry, I suppose."
Einna smiles, "Indeed, we shall."
As quickly as they could they ran to catch up to the group of dwarves and Gandalf. Einna kept pace with Bilbo as she knew he would eventually catch up with the others. As soon as they approached the group, Bilbo handed Thorin the parchment as Einna ignored Oakenshield's presence. Bilbo was given a pony to ride while Einna preferred to walk aside the group. Fili and Kili started a conversation with Einna, Bilbo was chatting with Gandalf and the other dwarves. Einna was enjoying her conversations with Fili and Kili and didn't notice the dull pain in the back of her head as a headache was starting. The pain was slowly getting stronger but not enough for Einna to notice until nightfall, when all she could focus on was the pain and the heavy feeling in her head. She laid down pretending to sleep. Gandalf and the others didn't know the pain she was in, perhaps, she should tell someone but it not like they could do anything about it either. Einna soon found herself in a vision, she stood in front of an elven king then it appeared she was watching Smaug fly high above a burning village and then fell into a lake; soon she was standing on a mountain of gold surrounded as Thorin sat on a throne by himself; Einna stood among a bunch of people fighting urks and monsters, and then she was standing and looking at a dead Thorin next to Bilbo. The vision ended, Einna awoke seeing all the dwarves and Bilbo staring at her.
"Why are all of you looking at me like I did something?" Einna asked, remembering pieces of the vision.
"You were crying and we were trying to wake you up." said Kili. "You were muttering things as well, but we couldn't make them out."
"Some strange language you were speaking." commented Ori. "What did you dream, miss?"
Einna was at loss of words, as she wiped the tears she didn't notice, "I don't remember what made me cry or what I was dreaming."
