chapter one

Two hands picked a camera op, pressed record and then put the camera back down again. Four girls were smiling int the camera. A tall girl with long brown hair said: "Hi guys! Welcome back to our channel! Today, we have an announcement to make." Sooyoung said, and started grinning. "Since we hit a million subscribers, which is, to be honest, we never thought that we'd get that much, we will do something special for you guys!" Chaewon exclaimed happily.

"Since we recorded the haunted house video on Halloween and you guys seemed to love it when we, more like Chaewon and Jiwoo, get scared-" Hyejoo grinned, and got smacked on her arm by Chaewon, who sat next to her, and Jiwoo pouted. Hyejoo rubbed her arm, still laughing. "We thought we'd do something similar to that!"

Jiwoo grabbed her phone, and searched for something on the internet. She looked back at the camera, and smiled. "So apparantly, there's this haunted forest, in the USA, where weird sightings have been and there are tons of scary stories about it on the internet. And we thought that we'd, maybe pay a little visit to it?" Jiwoo was still smiling, but her smile was a tad awkward.

"Are you scared already? We're not even in America yet!" Hyejoo exclaimed, and Sooyoung & Chaewon laughed. "Hey! Don't make fun of me Son Hyejoo! As if you didn't get scared in the haunted house!" "That was because Chaewon screamed!" "No, you were scared!" Chaewon butted in, and started laughing. Hyejoo looked helplessly at Sooyoung, who chuckled.

"Eh, I think I heard you scream as well?" "You're supposed to defend me!" Hyejoo said with a pout on her face.

"We're getting off-topic again." Jiwoo reminded the two bickering girls. "Ah, okay. But anyways, that's what we're doing and we'll be leaving in two days, so stay tuned for that! Bye!" The girls said the last part in unison.

Sooyoung sat on her balcony and was mindlessly scolling on Instagram. "So, you're doing scary stuff now?" Sooyoung looked up from her Phone, and smiled when she saw her neighbor, Jinsol, grinning at her. The blonde was standing on her own balcony, setting a cup of tea on a little table.

"You saw the video already? Do you have my notifications on?" Sooyoung teased, and Jinsol chuckled.

"Of course, i'm your number one fan!" The sunlight was shining on Jinsol when she smiled, and to Sooyoung, it made her look like an angel. Yes, Sooyoung has been crushing on Jinsol since the blonde moved in as her neighbor. Jiwoo keeps telling her to just ask her out, because 'oBVIOUSLY she likes you back', but Sooyoung can't even tell if Jinsol is into girls. And if she likes Sooyoung back.

Jinsol sat down on a chair. "But eh? America? That's pretty far flying. And what are you going to do in the forest?"

"Yeah, it's about 13 hours. And nothing is probably going to happen in the forest, although.. me and Hyejoo are gonna try and prank Jiwoo and Chaewon. They get scared so easily." Jinsol laughed. "This sounds more like an idea of Hyejoo than yours. But still," She put her empty teacup down. "Be careful. It's a dark forest after all and it'll be just the four of you."

"Don't worry, I will. The worst thing that could happen is that we'd get lost." Jinsol frowned. "But that's a very bad thing." "But it won't happen. Most likely." Sooyoung said, but Jinsol kept frowning.

"I don't want anything bad happening to you! I mean I.." Jinsol paused her sentence.

"Whatever. Just don't do stupid shit." She grabbed her teacup and started heading back into her appartment.

"I won't mom!" "I heard that!"
