I don't go to Wendy's so often. I haven't eaten here in a long time. We walk in and I look towards the cashiers and I see a face I recognize. I couldn't figure out why I recognize him, but there was something familiar about him. As we stand in line, Nick stood behind me.

"Mind if I ride in your car when we go back home?"
He asks whispering into my ear. I for some reason stiffened. My body soon relaxed and I turned around. I giggled.

"Sure, Nick."
I say smiling at him. He smiles back. His smile was beautiful. And his Jawline, wheeew. I turn back around and it was now my turn to order. The guys looks at me.

"D-Do I know you?"
He asks. I look at his name tag 'Ryan'

"Wait, are you Ryan, as in Ryan Paiz?"
Ryan was Catherine's brother, he moved away from Michigan in an early age living with his grandparents, I don't really know why, but he really wanted to live with them.
He nods his head after my question, I figured he still didn't know who I was.
"Chantel, Chantel Gambino"
I say, his eyes grew wide.

"No way, is that really you?"
He says.
"Wow, You've changed."
I giggle.

"Sure have."

"So what are you getting Don Chantel?"
He jokes, because of my dad's name. People always called him Don Anthony because 'Don' is a title you give someone you have mad respect for. I told him my order and sat down with the rest of the guys.

"So who's that guy?"
Maggie asks nudging me with her elbow. Nick sat across from me. He looked mad, maybe jealous, or just annoyed. Couldn't quite figure it out. I started laughing.

"That's my best friends brother. I haven't seen him in like 10 years."
I say. Nick looked relieved. We all ate and joked around. Zions friends are pretty funny. We were done eating. While walking out of Wendy's Edwin came up to me.

"Do you like dancing Chantel?"
He startled me at first.

"Uh, Yeah I love dancing."

"You dance?"
Nick asks surprised. I nod.
"I didn't know that.

"There's a lot of things you don't know about me."
I say getting inside my car. Nick sits next to me. I get a text.

"So Chantel, tell me a little about yourself."
Nick says. I chuckle.

"I don't know what to tell you really. There's not much I can say."
I answer he looks at me confused.

"Tell me about your family, your passion, your free time...your life."
Damn this boy wants to know about my life. Hah, Hell naw.

"Well I want to become a DJ, I live with my friends in a nice home. I don't know, my life is a little crazy. I'm just chilling, ballin' and gettin' lifted."
I say. He nods.

"Cool, guess we have a little in common."

"What about you, tell me sum' about you."

"Well, where should I start? I live with those shitheads, together we produce songs, go on tour and have fun, they're like my brothers. I like to smoke sum', deal sum' and steal sum'."
He says. I look at him, before looking back at the road. Damn, never knew he had that criminal side to him.

"Don't you have a reputation to worry about, if your fans knew, you'd be cancelled."

"Well, that's why I make sure they don't know."
He answers nonchalantly. I nod.
"So you come from a dangerous neighborhood?"
He asks, I nod. He nods as well.
"What was it like."

"I don't know. My family was mad respected so I had no worries. But at the same time, living in the hood brings out your criminal side. While living there, my life was pretty hectic."
I say. Shit, I shared to much already. Somehow he gets everything out of me, he seems so interested, but I can't talk about my life that much.

"Yeah, I get it."
He says. All of a sudden my phone rings again. Cindy?

"Hi, Cindy!"

"Hi Chantel, where you at?"
She says sounding stressed.

"I'm on my way to Zions place."

"Fuck. I'm begging you, can you drive back home, and make sure to get the weed out of my room, I have a sum' in my closet, on my table and behind my jewelry stand. My dad is heading towards the house to get my moms shoes from my closet, and I know he will snoop around in the room."
She says. Shit, her father works for the DEA.

"Oh dammit, uh, yeah okay. I'll turn back."

"Thank you, Bebe, I miss you, take care."

"I miss you too, tell everyone I said hi, see you on Saturday."

"I will. See you then. Thanks again."

"All good, bye."
I say as I end the call. I start driving over the speed limit. Nick looked at me.

"Damn girl."
He says looking back at the road. 5 minutes later we were in front of my house. Nick looked at it with wide eyes.
"Wow your house is huge."
I laugh.

"Yeah well, four of us live here, we gotta do what we gotta do."
I say. We walk in and up the stairs into Cindy's room.

"Wow, what a room."
He says. I giggle as I take all of the hidden bags of weed and take them to my room. Once I open the door to my room, his jaw almost touched the floor.

"I-I, holy, shit."
Nick couldn't get words out. He walked around in my room still mouth agape. I hear the front door open.

"Hello!"
I hear Cindy's father call out. I still held the bags of weed.

"Hi, John!"
I yell back.
"Give me the Louise bag."
I say pointing at the bag standing next to my closet. He took it seeing the inside. His eyes grew wide when he saw what was inside.
