I changed into http://www.polyvore.com/untitled_288/set?id=59684147#stream_box getting ready to leave for the morning interviews and then the performance. I was still tired and as soon as I got in the car I was handed a phone to start the radio interviews while I was on my way to the studio for the morning show.
I talked to a bunch of people for a while about my CD coming out, touring with Joe, answered some fan questions and even sang a bit of my single for one of the radio stations. Then I was very grateful when we got to the studio and I sat down trying to wake myself up. Joe came in with his manager and he had coffee… I could really use some coffee right now.
As I was sitting in a chair waiting, I was going through a bunch of tweets and then I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked up seeing Joe and smiled at him, “Hey… what’s up?” He smiled at me, “hey… thought you might want some coffee.”
He held out a cup of coffee and I smiled big nodding, “Yes please.” He chuckled and handed me the cup of coffee smiling. He sat down next to me, “So you having fun on the tour so far?” I nodded smiling. “it’s so much fun joe. Thank you for giving me the chance to be on this tour.” He just smiled at me.
“Well you deserve to be on this tour. You’re extremely talented.” I blushed a little smiling. Then I was being called to get ready to perform. I smiled at Joe, “thanks for the coffee Joe.” He smiled at me and I walked backstage to the piano sitting down smiling at my band and the back up singers.
Then I heard them announcing me, “She’s the girl everyone is dying to get to know. She’s on tour with Joe Jonas, has a CD coming out soon, and she has an inspiring story that she is sharing today. Performing her single Skyscraper, ANDREA GARCIA!!”
They slowly opened the curtains as I started playing and singing. Throughout the whole song I was thinking about my past, and what I went through to get to where I was now. I could feel tears almost coming out when I got to the final chorus and made sure to put everything I had in me into it. People were cheering and I finished the song wiping my eyes and smiling a bit.
