So I came up with this idea while on a train and I literally could not stop thinking about it so I tried to draw it out as a comic but it just wasn't working for me. So I decided to make a book about it. I'm aware that it might be boring at first and honestly I know that absolutely nobody is gonna read this cause fr who goes on wattpad anymore? Anyways I hope y'all enjoy the first part.

Having brown eyes is both a blessing and a curse. And I'm the only one in my family with them. The only god.

I stand in the shower letting the warm water rush over me. Every so often I increase the heat letting the hot water droplets burn at my skin. I can feel the aching anxiety that has started to pool in my stomach and bubble like a cauldron.

Why did I agree to go with Rylee? They're all lower than me, they'll only use me to make themselves feel better. They don't actually want   to spend time with me, they feel obligated to because I'm higher than them.

"Aisha! Rylee's outside!" My brother yells.

I turn the water off and twist my hair, trying to drain the water out of it. I frantically brush my hair and tug on a short black dress. I look at the ring necklace my brother got me for Christmas. He got me that necklace last year when I was with my mom for Christmas. As much as I love my mom, her side of the family are Palestinian, so whenever I attempt to celebrate Christmas with her it's always this awkward gift giving of socks in front of all my uncles and aunts. I think you can understand why I get embarrassed. I clasp it onto my neck and tug on a pair of black vans. Sure it's a party but comfort comes first.

"Aisha hurry the fuck up!" My brother yells again.

"Shut the hell up I just finished!" I shout back.

Irritated, I exit the bathroom and jump onto our very broken banister. It wobbles to the side before I slide down it and land in front of the front door.

"I'm leaving!" I shout.

My older brother, Bobby walks in from the kitchen and gives me a big hug.

"Don't do dumb shit and if you aren't home by 11:30, Dad will know something's up."

"11:30? That's so early! Plus Dad's just going to be in the basement working on his 3D printers, he won't even know."

"I swear to fucking god..." He starts to groan.

"Please? Can you hold me out until 2?"

"12."

"2."

"Fine, 1."

"No, 1:30."

"1:30, tops. I'll leave the backdoor unlocked so that you won't wake Ashton. Plus I'll still be awake so if I forget just text me."

"Alright, if I run into any good liquor I'll make sure to bring some back for you and Gwyn." I say with a smirk.

"Shut up and get out of here already." He says as he opens the front door and pushes me outside. Before I can say goodbye he's already closed and locked the front door. I turn to face Rylee.
