Three colours far from mellow

Gone is the green

Once painted on the trees

Down fall their leaves

And pile up to the knees

Gone is the heat

Once crowding every day

A cold, ferocious hail

Gone is the sipid air

Fresh with summer's love

In swarm the clouds above

To hide a cooing dove

Red, orange, and yellow

Three colours far from mellow

I knew it would be so

For summer has to go
