Andrew arrives right on time and like a gentle man he brought me a big set of flowers. I smiled and thanked him.

"Will you wait here for a second? I want to get a vase for these. They're beautiful." I said.

"I don't mind waiting for you but please hurry, it's pretty cold out here." he said, giving me a pleading stair.

"Oh, don't be such a baby." I rolled my eyes.

"I'm not and don't you know it's rude to roll your eyes at a teacher. Maybe I should give you detention." Andrew smirked.

"If you do I'll just stay here tonight instead." I said, starting to close the door.

Andrew stopped the door with his foot and let himself in. Taking me in his arms he closed the door and pushing me to it.

"Oh, Alice, you know what would happen during that detention and I know you would want every second of it." he said, his hands running through her hair as he leaned in and nipped at her lip.

"You're crushing my flowers," I said, holding back my body. The effects that he had on my body was crazy. He had it from the start, from the day we met a few months ago.

I somehow moved away and walked into my kitchen. In a small cabinet next to my dishwasher I kept all my vases. I bent over and picked my favorite. It had been my mother's, a gift from my father's very last trip right before they died.

The vase was clear but had a beautiful flowery design on it with real diamonds here and there. I could still remember when she got it. Right away she made my dad go out and get her some flowers.

I guess I wasn't moving fast enough because Andrew took the vase from my hands. I gasped.

"Careful with that! It was my mother's."  I said.

His eyes met mine and he nodded, giving me a small smile as he got a better grip on it and filled it with water. I took some scissors and released my flowers and cut the stems some. Andrew set the vase on the middle of the island in my kitchen.

I put the flowers in and thanked him then we headed out the door. When we reach the car Andrew opens the door for me. I climbed in, taking it in. This was nice. It was a sports car of some kind but I had no clue of what, cars were not my thing.

"So, where are we going to?" I asked once he was in.

"It's a surprise." he told me.

"Ugh, I hate those." I told him. Little did I know I would be getting quite the surprise within the next couple of weeks.

*A/N: was going to stop here but... ;) *

Andrew pulled into a diner as I took it in I realized this was where me and my parents came to once a week when I was little. Sal's had the best food in town, everyone loves it. I hadn't been here in years but Sal knew everybody and made it a point to know anybody who entered his diner. No matter if it was a pit stop or every day, he was by far the friendliest man in town. There was no questioning this. He wasn't into the gossip like most, he just honestly cared.

"Earth to Alice," Andrew said, waving his hand in front of my face.

"S-sorry," I said, "it's been forever since I came here."

Andrew nodded, understanding. Once he got out he opened the car door and lead her to the restaurant. In the restaurant he led her to a booth in the back.

None of the waitresses or waiters came over. I figured it was because Sal said not to. My thoughts came true I heard Sal come over. He set two plates and two milkshakes down in front of us.

"My word! Ali baby, you sure have grown! The last I saw you, you were just reaching my waist. You're getting more beautiful by the day, looking more and more like your mother if you ask me. Well, I brought you you're favorite; cheeseburger, no tomato or onion, extra pickle and fires extra crispy," Sal said, smiling, "As for you, sir, I have my double cheeseburger with everything on it and regular fires since I don't know what you like yet. Both meals on the house. Oh, and that's a cookies n creme milkshake for you, Ali, and a chocolate milkshake for you, sir."

With that Sal walked away. Damn I forgot how he could talk.

"What's with him?" Andrew asked, digging into his burger.

"Umm...nothing." I answered.

"No, I mean how he acted like he knew you."

"He does, that's just how Sal is. He's loves his costumiers like family. Hell, before my parents death we came here once a week at least."

"I like him," he smirked.

For the rest of our night it was like that, just us...but it wasn't going to be just us for long.
