Resurrect The Sun

Long ago the tyranny of Mordor was unleashed upon the the land. Legions of orcs pored out of the black gate descending upon all that lay before them. A watch was placed at the Black gate in hopes of keeping the orcs at bay, but it would not hold for long, for the days grew dark and cold. In that desperation a ranger named Ben forged a new ring unlike the others, binding himself to a wraith in hopes of vanquishing the enemy once and for all.

At the watch, young Ben looks on into the darkness of the night.

Here in the echoes madness grows, the years of my sinning teach me to show a heartless feeling of pain and regret. These wounds were opened like lines in sand the world is sleeping but they still have hope so, I pray for morning, our hour of desperation is a pound us to save our world from the darkness that threatens to descend upon us. I thought as I looked into the darkness of the night. In the morning we go to battle to defend that which we hold most dear, to vanquish evil and bring peace to the land once more.

The next morning the sun rose in the distance, but its presence was almost unknown to man. It was covered by a dark shadow unnatural to this world, the darkness that grew inside the black gate almost drowned out the light.

Ben the young ranger walked to the gardens to join them.

The army was gathering at the Black gate in hopes of vanquishing the enemy once and for all.

Poe and Finn, were the guards who had kept watch over night.

"Any sign of movement?" Ben asked.

"No, Ben it's all quite." Poe said.

Ben looked on ahead of him, Elves and humans began to position themselves for battle.

Rey walked up to him, "Ben I have enjoyed spending time with you these past mounts."

"As have I," Ben said facing her.

"Ben if we die..." Rey began.

"I swear, I'll never let you die! These saints within us, can bring this moment back to life! And my heart's held high with this battle cry, I'll march on! On the horizon, we will resurrect the sun!" Ben said, looking into her eyes.

Rey smiled up at him.

Once they had all gathered before the gate, Ben stepped out in front of them.

"Stay strong for the darkness has broken our homes, all that we wished for like fools on a rope. I can feel it, the desperate control a burning passion when love takes its toll, yet souls have a reason and won't let go! I pray for morning, because my heart's high with this battle cry, I'll march on! On the horizon, do not lose heart men, we will resurrect the sun!" Ben finished.

The Black gate opened, Orcs poured out with their swords raised high before they charged forward, the orcs colliding with men and elves as an epic battle unfolded all around them.

Morgoth stepped out into the middle of the battle, crushing all that lay before him.

Ben charged forward, raising his blade to met that of his enemy's.

Morgoth pushed him to the ground pining him there.

"On his dark throne in the land of Mordor where shadows lie, one ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, one ring to bring them all and in the shadows bind them in the land of Mordor where the shadows lie." Morgoth said as he raised his sword to plunge it into Ben.

"The world is sleeping but they still have hope, so I pray for morning, And my heart's held high with this battle cry, I'll march on! On the horizon, we will resurrect the sun!" Ben said as the wraith that he had bound himself with came forth, stabbing Morgoth in his cold black heart, Morgoth faded into darknesses and was no more.

As Ben rose to his feet the last of the orcs vanished into that same darkness.

As Ben looked out into the faces of the brave men and elves, peace returned to the land the dark shadow disappeared from the sun allowing them to feel its bright warmth once again.

Rey walked over to Ben taking his hand in hers, she smiled up at him, the land finally had peace, along with his heart.

"The Light has returned," Rey said as the sun golden beams lit up her face.

"Yes It has," Ben said looking at her.
