Billies POV

"Finneas, trust me, we'll love you no matter what ok? We're all here to support you, even Taylor" my mum told Finneas, he was looking out the window with a disappointed look on his face as if he'd done something wrong.

The doctor came in and told us some bad new about Finneas, he has been diagnosed with clinical depression, Anxiety,
OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and insomnia. That's not at all what we wanted to hear but he's going to be fine and I'm so happy, if anything happened to my big bro I don't think I could even function properly.

After being told this, we stood there in shock for a few seconds, Taylor immediately brought me in for a hug and held me tightly, which I returned of course. Mum started crying and my Dad comforted her, telling her quietly between sobs that Finneas is ok, he's just going through a hard time and we can help him.

After a couple minutes I pulled out of the hug and looked at Taylor who had tears streaming down her cheeks and was sniffling,"Hey Taylor, you ok? Cuz if you're worried about Fin I promise you he will be ok" I whispered sadly, my voice breaking in the middle of the sentence.

"No no, it's not Fin, I'm really glad he will be ok honestly but there's something else I'm just not ready to bring up right now."she looked up at me, her eyes red and puffy and her cheeks blotchy and tear stained. I really hope she's ok, and I know she hasn't been with us for long but I care about her.

"Erm, Mr and Mrs O'Connell, Finneas will be able to leave once he signs his papers, but we recommend getting him an appointment with some sort of therapist" the doctor said showing almost no emotion, My mum nods her head and goes to sit down next to Finneas after bringing the sheet over with her.

"Billie, could I have a hug, please? Finn asks with sad eyes, but already knows the answer is yes

"Of course you can bro, I love you so much" I said as I brought him into a tight hug as my mum told us she finished signing the papers for finneas.

Time skip

Once we were home I grab Finneas by the arm and pull him into my room, I took a deep breath and squeezed my eyes shut.

"Finn I need to tell you something important, I think I have a crush on Taylor but she's not even staying here permanently, so I don't know what to do" I said in one breath as I opened my eyes hesitantly just to see him staring back with a blank face.

"Billie...you can breath you know, Taylor is staying in America for a year remember? A lot can happen in that space of time" Finneas said as he put his hand on my shoulder and looked me in the eyes, smiling then pulling me in for a hug. I don't know what I would do without him.

Taylor's POV

Once we got home Billie said she needed to talk to Finn about something important, I'm assuming it was what was up with him. I hope Finn will be ok but in the meantime, Maggie has cooked tea and it smells delicious.

"So Taylor, how are you enjoying America so far? I'd it what you expected or no?" Maggie asked while shoving a tray of vegan chicken nuggets into the oven.

"To be honest, I'm really enjoying it here and I know I've still got a lot to see because it's only been a couple days but it's amazing here!" I said as I got excited for a second then remembered I have to go back to England eventually.

Maggie, Patrick and I talked for a while more until the food was done and Bil and Finn came out of her room after talking for a while. We were having a really good time just talking and eating but we were all tired from the long couple of days we had.

"Billie, can we watch a movie or something in your room? We can watch Netflix but I'm choosing" I said to her while she was looking down at her phone so I grabbed her hand and dragged her to her room.

I ended up letting Billie choose a movie because she was giving me her puppy dog eyes and I just couldn't say no to her, she's so cute but she's also just so beautiful at the same time.

"Taylor I'm getting tired, do we have to watch the whole thing?" Billie asked through a yawn, which sounded adorable.

"You can go to sleep if you want but I think I'll stay up, do you want to cuddle?" I asked, she mentioned before that she likes cuddling but she's normally the big spoon. I put my arm out and signalled for her to lay on my chest so she did. She fell asleep about 5 minutes after that so she obviously was tired.

I woke up to the sound of light snoring in my ear and opened my eyes to see my arm around Billie, we must've both fell asleep by accident last night. I smiled and just decided to stay where I was, not wanting this to end.
