I woke up here due to my alarm, SHOOT, I'll be really late and my boss will might fire me. I can't really afford to loose this job of mine. I've been working here for about two years now as a secretary for the CEO and the pay is really good. I dashed into the bathroom, did all my stuff's and wore a pencil skirt and wore a white long sleeved top. I put on high heels, something I extremely hate but I have to. I set out for work. As a result of the heavy traffic I got to work extremely late. The receptionist Gladys looked at me in pity. Oh shit! I'm done for. I went into my office silently. I sat on my chair rubbing my forehead. Suddenly, the telephone connecting I and my boss rang oh shit!I looked back only a door was the boundary between us. I sighed ,let's do this. I picked it "yes boss"I replied." Come into my office" his voice was sharp,cold,monotone and flat. It sent shivers down my spine."y-y-yes sir" I always stuttered around him.i dropped the telephone and went to his door,I inhaled and exhaled sharply,I sighed and knocked." Come in" I heard his voice say again,I went carefully so as not trip. I came in face to face contact with my boss. The face that have haunted my dreams for years. I yearned for him to look at me but he doesn't even know I exist. I was attracted to him at first but I don't think I still am now. He has a normal face with a square jaw, I stared at him. He is gorgeous,piercing electric gray eyes, he has a high nose and pink lips,brown hair.he is tall, muscular but lean,well built. He is simply the epitome of beauty, why will he notice me? He is attractive, I'm just plane Jane.Miss----------wright ,I assisted him. He never seemed to remember my name because he has a lot of females around him."you came late again. What is your problem? If you can't bear to come here early then quit" he said calmly but in a dangerous tone. It hot me straight on my heart," In fact you are fired" he boomer my heart tightened"please sir, I promise it will never happen again" I pleaded frantically with years drooping. I remembered my young sister struggling to survive, to needed the money for her surgery. I don't have a father , not dead but I never met him" please Lucy is dying, to need this job" I pleaded.he looked at me for a moment" okay" he said. Thank you sir, I said wiping my tears. Lucy is my sister and she needs a heart transplant we found a doctor but no money,now losing this job,I can lose my  mind and life along with the job." You can leave" he said eyeing me from up to down I turned and walked out,I sat on my seat. I decided to call mom about Lucy's health . Mum, how is Lucy,I asked" if Lucy doesn't get the surgery in two days, we will lose my baby.she still young and has college to go to go.please I beg of you muni save my baby" she wailed. The tears dropped from my eyes" I don't want Lucy to die. She is such a sweet girl. Okay mom I'll find something to do about it" I promised solemnly.
