Amber charged once more at the group but then was tripped by Scotty’s body. Amber groaned
as Scotty bit his ear. The vanilla cat yowled and ran off into the darkness of the alley. Scotty
walk to the group of opossums and smiled. “Sorry about Amber they are such a stuck up.” “No
kidding.” Ricotta muttered. “Anyways I’m Scotty and I hate being such a hellhound to everyone
like Amber.” The small cat hopped. “We are trying to find out a murder.” Midnight Said.
“A murder?!” Scotty exclaimed. “Yeah one of our friends and teacher already died.” Blythe finally
said after being silent for awhile. “Oh my well don’t worry I can track em with my little pink thing
stuck on my face!” Scotty put his paw on his nose. “Your….nose…” Ricotta snickered. “Yep
Yep!” Alucard gathered them around and they whispered about Scotty. The kitten sat in
confusion as they broke up the circle.
“We say yes.” Midnight agreed. Scotty grinned and hopped around!. “Yay yay what do I track
first!” Alucard slid the bloody knife to Scotty and he immediately started sniffing. “Hmmm this
way!” The group followed Scotty to find their destructive murderer. Scotty went up the alley and
saw something he didn’t want to see. He paused at the dead body of the cat who laid there
frozen. Thunder rumble in the distance as Scotty started sobbing.
“Scotty what happened?” Sam slowly walked up to the kitten. “Murderer killed my mom.” He
shuddered as he was weeping. Alucard saw the slit on the cat’s throat which was still bleed and
the motionless eyes the stared into space. He sniffed the bloody cat and got the same scent
from the teacher. “Yep She was murdered too.” Everyone gasped and got angry. Throwing
around threats to the killer. “I will slaughter her and stuff her in a pidgeon’s throat!” One of the,
shouted.
“Everyone shut up this isn’t getting us anywhere.” Daichi vociferated. “He’s right it’s about to
start pouring and all we are doing is standing around!” Blythe agreed. Scotty nodded and slowly
trotted to continue the search as a small drizzle of rain began to appear. “Ugh i hate when sad
moments always come with rain.” Sam chuckled. “Huh I wonder why.” Ricotta glared at Sam.
Sam smirked at her and then she slapped him. “OW.”
Another opossum was found dead on the side of the alley by a trash can. An opossum who was
found to named Rye sat with his sibling Sunday who was the one who was murdered were
talking to the group about the murder. Alucard sniffs once more. Same scent. “We were looking
for our brother Pippy just for a visit after mama Anna was getting old with us.” Rye sniffled. “Wait
Pippy is your brother he used to be our cook…” Jasmine started from excited to frowning. “What
happened to him.” Rye gasped as more tears and rain started pouring.
“He was killed in a fire.” Jasmine muttered. Rye started to cry more from what he’s heard.
Ricotta tried to cheer them up by rubbing their back. “Both my siblings are gone forever.” Rye
mewled. “We will find this killer but for now I will go show you where the fire castle is while you
guys go along head.” Daichi said putting a shoulder around Rye. They all nodded but then
Blythe spoke. “I’m going with you Daichi.” Daichi agreed and the 3 walked off in the heavy rain.Thunder crackled and boomed as the group struggled to go on. The clouds were dark and
dangerous. “We must stop the rain is keeping us from going farther.” Midnight shouted. “She’s
right come on I know a place.” Scotty said running through an entrance out the arcade. There
was a small broken metal roof with a gap. They all enter inside as the rain was pouring. “What
about our parents they must be very worried.” Jasmine muttered.
“My mom would definitely be worried and blame it on zipper.” Midnight Said. “Meh Dad wouldn’t
care if we disappeared for days.” Ricotta grumbled. Alucard nodded in agreement and Sam
giggled.
