Ever since she turned on her phone, not even a minute after, beeps and buzz resonated from the small gadget, making her try to calm herself down before she might harshly throw it out of the window, which was not a good idea.

Mails and calls kept it ringing for ages, and Jimin observed how Lila would care nothing more to it and just continued driving her way.

One recent call was from her aunt Nilly, who acted as her manager throughout her whole career. Her parents trusted no stranger to care for their daughter's management. Although her aunt doesn't know much, which made Lila do most of the work, still she was family.

Jimin thought about it for a while before touching the small button which resulted to playing a voicemail her aunt left behind.

"Lila, darling! Where on earth are you?! Your parents are worried sick, and so are the people. The media about you is a mess and everything is crazy. Please answer the call."

Lila sighed deeply, wanting to erase such ideas in her head for now.

"Did you really have to answer that?" her eyes landed on Jimin who was silent for a while.

"And did you really have to do this? Lila, this act could ruin your whole career. Everything that you'd worked hard for. What the heck are you thinking?!"

"What do you know?" she retorts, her eyes off the road and solely focused on Jimin with anger.

"What do I know?! Well, I do for a fact knew how hard it was for you, how much sacrifice you did just so you could have this dream of yours, how much I gave space for you to actually focus and now THIS? This is what you're gonna do?! Waste it on something not worth it?"

"Shut up! You don't know anything!" she screamed, not backing down.

"How the hell would I know if you're not telling me?!"

"Well—"

Before she could defend herself from the heated argument, Jimin noticed something ahead of them.

"DUCK!"

"What?!"

"Lila! Watch out for the duck!"

She whipped her head instantly back towards the road. Her eyes grew wide from the sight she caught up-front.

A small yellow creature was mindlessly waddling across the rocky street, trailing after its mother duck and the rest of the family.

"AAHHH!" they both screamed in panic, accompanied by loud screeching from the wheels that brought stinging pain to their ears when Lila stepped onto the brake pedal.

The car was pulled to a stop in the middle of the road as smoke came out from the engine.

"Are you okay?" Jimin asked her worriedly, scanning her from every nook and cranny before sighing in relief once Lila nodded her head as she coughed.
