Astoria's POV

"PADFOOT!" I heard my arrogant neighbor, James Potter, yell. I groaned, the summer holidays were almost over meaning it was time for his friend Sirius Black to visit.

Let me explain. I am Astoria Mai, the god damn BEST piano player and best friend to Cece Shay, Lily Evans, and Berlin Hood. Together, we are the Maraudettes: The greatest pranksters of Hogwarts.

My neighbor, James Potter is best friend to Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettingrew. He's also leader of the Marauders, another prank group.

Alright, back to what's happening.

I was sitting at my piano unfortunately sat by the window, when I heard Potter. "Oh shut up! Is Evans there today?" he yelled back. I ignored him and continued playing.

Both of our parents [Me and Potter] were both rich families and owned giant manors next to each other. Of course I was a muggle-born but our families were good friends. You can tell the horror this caused for me and my friends that were over here all the time. I looked back at the time and saw I should be going t bed, we were starting our fifth year at Hogwarts tomorrow.

I made sure my trunk was packed and I put my piano key painted wand away. I watched as the sun faded over the hills.

The next day

I hopped onto the HE and found a compartment with some familiar faces.

"LILY! BERLIN! CECE! SEVERUS!" I screamed and hugged them. Your most likely confused on who 'Severus' is. Severus Snape is the other best friend of the Maraudettes since I have been his best friend since I could remember.

Flashback

"No! Don't do it! Mummy told you not to!" The girl yelled. Me and Sev were hidden behind a bush, watching the red head girl trapeze across the air laughing. "Look tuney! Its fun!" The red head called.

" Th-that isn't normal what your doing!" The girl, Tuney apparently, whispered. "Well isn't it obvious what she's doing? That's magic!" I said smiling.

Tuney let out a shrill laugh. "Magic? Funny."  She turned to the red head. "Let's go Lily." They were about to leave when Sev spoke up.

"She's telling the truth! I'm a wizard. And your a witch!"

Flashback over

I engulfed them all in a hug. We all sat and caught up on our summer until Sev went to talk to me and his fellow Slytherins.

Yep. You heard right.

I'm in Slytherin.

But only cause I asked. I was supposed to be in Gryfindor. But I wanted to be in Slytherin.

We heard the door open and saw our worst enemies. The Marauders.

"Potter."

"Black."

"Pettingrew."

"Lupin."

We all said with venom at the same time.

That's a weird thing we do.

"Evans."

"Shay."

"Hood."

"Mai."

They said back, but with smirks. Each one of them fancied one of us, disgusting.

"Ah, now why the hatred my dear Evans." Potter said advancing on Lily.

"Yes, why the the venom?" Black said nearing Cece.

"Why must you dislike us?" Pettingrew said, getting closer to Berlin.

Lupin rested his arm on my shoulder.

"Ah, yes. My little flower." I grimaced at my nickname. Apparently Astoria was a type of flower.

I sat down, completely ignoring Lupin. But, as I've realized, that's impossible. So I decided that I should mess with him. "Would you just leave me alone?" But then I added with a smirk," Mooney."

"How did you know?" Remus's voice was barley a whisper. I didn't see the big deal in his nickname. "Its what your friends call you." I shrugged.

"You found out that Remus is a werewolf and were illegal animungi by a name?" Black asked in shock.

All our eyes widened. "Y-your a werewolf?" I could barely get the words out. Remus looked as they he could crawl up in a hole and die.

I caught Lily's eye and basically read my mind. I shook my head, knowing one of them wanted to tell my secret. The boys ran out of the cabin in horror. "Tails?" Cece asked. "Yes, paws?" I asked in a faint whisper. "Anyone just as freaked out as I am?" I heard Berlin whisper.

"Pretty much." Courses through the cabin. Let me clear something up.
