Chapter 2

I was sat in the headmasters office completely shocked. I was just told that all the teachers in my new school were vampires.

Mr Castellucci told me,"go and lie down and have a think about my offer but if you tell a soul about this, I will personally drain you of all your blood, do you understand Rose?"

I nodded in agreement and I left the room. Layne was sat outside waiting for me and he saw that I looked slightly shocked and he asked me, "Rose, What's wrong?" I said that I've just been told something and that I need to go and lie down.

Layne decided to go with me to my room because I still wasn't entirely confident with where things are in the school. When I got to my room, I unlocked the door and went and sat down on my bed.

Layne had followed me into my room and was questioning what happened, I was too scared to tell him anything but then he mentioned something about vampires.

I still didnt say anything but my body language changed which signalled to Layne that I knew about all the teachers being vampires.

-----------Time Skip-------------

Layne told me to have a lie down and to think about the whole being turned into a vampire thing and that he was going to his office so once I decided I could go to him.

After about 10 minutes, i had decided on what Mr Castellucci said about turning me into a vampire, I then walked down to the headmasters study and I knocked on the door.

A loud booming voice said "Enter" so I opened the door and walked inside and it turned out that all the senior teaching staff were inside including Layne who I thought was in his office.

Mr Castellucci asked "Rose, have you thought about what I said earlier" and I answered with "I have and I decided that I want to be a vampire"

I could see a smile in the corner of his mouth but I also saw a look of worry coming from Layne. Earl and Eli grabbed both of my arms really loosely and took me into a room attached to the headmaster's study.

Everyone else followed us into the room. It was really dark in there and I started to get kind of scared but Layne took me over to a sofa in the room and said "Rose, you dont need to be worried and yes it is slightly painful but the pain goes away quite quick. I can see that you are really tense and if I were you I would relax that way it doesnt hurt as much."

I asked Layne to stay sat next to me because I was really scared and he said ok. Mr Castellucci came over to me and asked me if I still wanted to through with this and I said yes.

My hair got moved away from my neck and I got my head turned to the side. I then felt two sharp pricks to my neck and then an overwhelmingly burst of pain. I wanted to scream out in agony but for some reason I couldn't.

After what seemed like an eternity I felt the fangs leave my neck and I just collapsed into Layne. He didnt go anywhere but he just brought his wrist to his mouth and he pierced his veins and put his wrist to my mouth and ordered me to drink.

As I was drinking the blood an overwhelming urge for blood went through my body and I grabbed his wrist with both of my hands and I just drank, as I felt the blood flowing through my throat, I felt like I was in heaven. It was amazing!

After about 5 minutes I loosened my grip on Layne's arm and I heard some voices and it was that same language from before but this time I understood everything that was said. Then I passed out.

-----------Time Skip----------

Once I woke up, I was still in the same room that I was in earlier but this time there was nobody in the room.

I felt very weak still so i just stayed sitting down on the sofa and then the door opened and Layne saw that I was awake. He told the others and they all came into the room.

Mr Castellucci sat down next to me asked me how i was feeling. I told him that I felt alright but kind of hungry. I got told that that's normal for a newly turned vampire.

He then said to J to get me some blood, so he went and got me some blood and he came back and gave it to me.

I started drinking it and everyone else could see how much I was enjoying it and Mr Castellucci just sat next to me and smiled because he knew that he was the one who turned me.

Once I finished the glass of blood, Eli said that I needed to learn certain things to survive as a vampire.
