AT THE PAST

Taeyong came back to his shared apartment with Haeryung, or more to Haeryung's apartment and crushing himself on the couch, heaved a deep sigh and didn't bother to switch the light and drown himself into the darkness with only moonlight dims in the entire apartment. He doesn't know it would be end like this, choosing her mother or Haeryung and putting her mother's life in the line. Now he has to face the circumtances, having difficulty of choosing one from the option.

His deep thought faded as the light turns on and heard a loud gasp escaped from Haeryung. “Taeyong! Oh my god! You scared the shit out of me!" She took off her stiletto, dropping her handbag on the other couch and slipping herself beside Taeyong, taking his warmth with humming.

“How long you've been home and didn't even bother to switch the light? Was it went that well?" She asked, now switching her position and laid her head on his lap.

Taeyong only smiles to his girl and brushing her hair between his fingers, not saying anything. Haeryung frowns, as if she know what happened. “It's mum, right?"

She got up from his lap, giving pleading gaze to him with hands crossed across her torso. She looked pissed with her own mum at the moment. “I knew it Taeyong, I knew my mum, she must've be saying anything to you," Taeyong feel dejected, shaking his head while keeping his smile.

“It's not that," He grabs her arm and took her hands into his, staring at her lovingly and tried to hide his broken feelings from Haeryung. She pulls her hands away from him and stood up. “Let me talk to her, agree or not we have to do the wedding, even it has to be without her if she's choose to disagree,"

Taeyong halting her from moving by wrapped his hands around her waist, forehead placed on her shoulder blade. “No please, stay with me for now." He asking her to stay, he doesn't want to make this issue gone bigger and letting her know about the deal he has to choose.

He doesn't want to let her know he's facing the difficulities, though he loved her a lot. “I know it has always been mum, Tyongie." She sobs. “I know it's her, tell me what did she do to you," He feel he were the most horrible boyfriend to her, he weren't in high education and didn't have a proper job. He just a dance choreographer to earn a living. Even so he still couldn't afford the operation bill for his mother that were laying in hospital waiting to get an operation after he settled the bill. His used saving for a marriage with Haeryung were running out only for his mother.

“I'm sorry, baby."

He'd wished to take Haeryung away with him but he afraid if Haeryung's mum dare threaten him by using his mother's life in the line. He won't ever to forgive himself if anything happens to his mother, because of it. His sister would have hated on him and disown him as her younger brother of choosing the girl he loves than his own mother. If he choose his mother to be safe and healthy as before, he has to let go of Haeryung. He only has his mother and Haeryung that he wished to have a very happy ending with them, but it's impossible for him to do and only imagined of it.

At the end he had to choose his mother instead to get an operation and money. After all he has to save his mother before it's too late. He can't lose his mother. Mrs. Kwon fulfilled the agreement and immediately getting his mother to get an operation. His mother asked him where he got the money and he didn't tell her. At the same day he was ordered had to leave Korea by tomorrow. He agrees and choose went to Miami because his cousin staying there and owned a dance studio.

That night he came back to his own old apartment that he left for a very long time, he found Haeryung balled herself on the couch and crying. She told him about her marriage with Jaehyun and he faked to be surprised, he knew it already and had to acted out like he doesn't know anything about it. He unintentionally slipped words about just following what her mum arrangement and Haeryung got furious. They've got into a small arguement about it and once again Haeryung were into his arms again, having their moment for the last time.
