The weekend was over, which mean't I would have to deal with all the whispers and gossip about Brandon and I breaking up.

Not to mention, I still had what he said about me circling around in my head. I didn't mind that he called me a slut, but it was the fact that he said he knew, which mean't that he thought I was one before.

Being the cutest Junior couple mean't that people were destined to find out about the breakup fast.

I finally got the energy to get out of bed, put on a sweatshirt and jeans, and run a brush through my hair.

The drive to school felt like the longest fifteen minutes of my life.

As soon as I passed through the school doors, all eyes were on me. I knew people were going to talk, but this was too much.

"What a slut"

"Did you hear all the things she did while they were together?"

"Brandon's single, which means I have a chance!"

Before I knew it I was walking over to our usual table to let out all my anger onto the guy I thought I loved.

Once I was almost to the table someone stepped in-front of me.

"Move out of my way, can't you see I'm trying to do something?"

I suddenly heard laughing and I looked up to see Zachariah was the one who stopped me.

"I don't have time for your bullshit." I said as I tried to step around him.

He quickly grabbed me and held me in place before I could make any move towards Brandon's table.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." He said.

"What does it matter to you? Just leave me alone." I practically screamed at him.

My momentary temper tantrum did nothing to him, he still held me in place.

I only had one option left.

I started yelling over Zachariah's shoulder.

"How are you going to tell all these people that I cheated on you? Brandon, you cheated on me!" I yelled with all the anger I had held captive for the past few days.

"He didn't spread those rumors I did."

I looked over Zachariah's shoulder to see that it was my own sister who said that.

Before I could think I pushed Zachariah and ran straight to the bathrooms.

"Brooke, wait!"

I looked back to see Zachariah calling after me, but I didn't have it in me to turn around.
