Enchanted Oasis

Chapter 1- Part 2

Vengelf's POV~

I was standing in darkness.

I couldn't see anything, but I could hear everything around me.

Some wings, some growls, a few hisses, a couple of stomping feet.

When I did gain my vision, I didn't have time to take in much of my surroundings since it was night time.

I felt air whoosh past my ear and then heard the pa-dong of an arrow landing on the ground.

Oh great.

Skeletons.

I quickly ran to the nearest tree and hid behind it, only to find that mobs were everywhere!

I decided to punch the tree for wood.

I wouldn't have enough time to build or dig a shelter, so I ran to the safety of a nearby mushroom.

This wasn't any little tiny mushroom though.

This was a gigantic mushroom!

That could only mean that I was in a magical forest!

I stood in the mushroom and looked out at my surroundings.

It was beautiful!

Morning came and I spotted some nearby sheep and decided it would only be for the best that I put them out of their misery, what with all these monsters around!

Well, I actually really just wanted their wool for a bed so I could just forget about the nasties for a while.

Even just a 5 minute sleep would be nice.
