Ethan's point of view

"What do you mean you are going out? Did you even check the time?" I sigh "Olivia, what's going on?, we used to be so close that we told each other everything, but now... I don't even know who you are anymore"

Just then, Olivia's phone buzzez. She looks at it and looks back at me. " who texted?" I ask her. "It doesn't matter" she replies. "Look I'll be back, please Ethan, I know the last thing I can ask of you right now is for you to do me a favour, but please don't tell mom that I went out" Olivia. "You won't need to worry about that, I'm not telling mom anything because I'll be damned if I let you leave this house tonight!" I told her as I stood in front of the door.

Olivia's point of view

Ethan is being so annoying right now. "Ugh, whats wrong with you, you are being so difficult. You can't decide what I do with my life, it's not yours its mine!" I shout at him. "Well maybe if you started acting like you are 21 and took some responsibility, you wouldn't have to feel like everyone is putting your life under a microscope" Ethan replies. "You know what... I'm not doing this anymore, clearly your mind is made up. I'm not gonna stop you from leaving, but just know that if you do... I'll never trust you again" he says...

Wow.

That cut deep. I've always looked up to my brother and to hear him say that really hurt me. Should i tell him the truth? But if I did I would just be adding more fuel to the fire.

Ethan did not take his eyes off me, it was as if he was waiting to see if I would really walk out and leave. "Ethan, I'll tell you everything when I get back... I promise" I say to him, almost pleading that he would relief me of this heavy guilt that I was feeling. "No, I don't wanna hear what you have to say anymore" he says to me. He looked hurt, he sounded hurt. That's when he walked off and letf me  there alone.

I could feel my phone vibrate and I took it out... Aron

I rolled my eyes and answered the phone.

"Hello"

"How long are  you gonna keep me waiting"

"I'm coming" I told him as I hung up.

I opened the door and I went out of the apartment. I walked for a while until I spotted Arron's car. I open the door to his car and I sit in the front with him. I couldn't even look at him so I just looked straight ahead ...expressionless.

He didn't even say anything. He started his car and drove ahead. We drove for a while until the car stopped. We sat in silence. He sighs before looking at me. I didn't have to look at him to know that his eyes were on me. I felt his glare.

"You want me to be a gentleman and open the door for you?" He asks as he chuckles to himself. I look at him, trying to figure out how he found any of this funny. I open the door and climb out.

"Guess not" he says as he climbs out the car. It looked like an apartment building that we were in front of. "Follow me" he says. I do so reluctantly the whole walk to his place was silent... you could sense the unease in the atmosphere. Even from Arron. Which made me worry a little. He was supposed to be the smooth and calm person between us right now, but there was something about him that gave off an unease.

He unlocked the door and he let me walk in as he followed. I looked around the apartment and it was stunning, it was very morden and stylish. I stood there with my arms crossed. I was scared, this would be my first time having sex. And it was going to be with someone I barely knew.

"Sit down Olivia" Arron says. "No! Can we just do this and get it done" I say aggressively. "Just sit down" he says. He remained calm. I sat and I looked to the ground again.

"Alright, what's the deal?" Arron asked. "What do you mean?" I asked quite annoyed that he was dragging the process. "How did it come to this, how are you at this point in your life?" Arron asks. "Does it even matter?! Can you just stop dragging this on and can we please just get this over with!" I shout at him. "Well I'm not having sex with you!" Arron shouts. "Then why am I even here!" I shout back. "Because I don't want you to put yourself in danger!" He begins as I give him a confused look.

"What does that even mean?" I ask him.

"I know what it's like to hit rock bottom, and to be swimming in debt that you are so desperate for it to go away that you are willing to do anything for it to go away, I know what it's like, I've lived that life... that's why I'm here now, that's why I'm known as the unscrupulous loan shark to everyone. I lost the one thing that meant the world to me because of that life... my family" he says, his face filled with emotions raging between sad and angry.

It was a sight I definatley was not expecting for tonight. I didn't even know what to say to him.

"You don't want to do this Olivia, trust me" he says as he looks at me sympathetically. "Just forget about the debt ok? I'm taking you home"

"Arron..."

"Look I don't wanna talk about this right now, just let me take you home and let's forget that any of this ever happened"  Arron responds.

The drive back home was quiet, much like the first one. But this time, my mind was very confused. Arron was known for his ruthless and merciless traits. What I saw tonight was unreal.

He stopped at my place and he doesn't say anything. I open the door and set one leg out... as I was about to climb out completely I stopped to look back at him.

"Thank you" I simply say

He nods and smiles.
