Chapter 1: Lock Down and Open Up

Lucy's P.O.V

"MURDERER CELL, LOCK DOWN AND OPEN UP!!" An officer yells as he drags me through a hall of cells.

Seven or more officers went to an isolated cell and flooded in. "PRISONERS SECURED, BRING 'ER IN!!"

The previous officer continues to drag me to the cell and throws me in. The officers rush out and slam the door shut.

I grunt and stand up, looking at my new prison mates.

One stepped forward with a glare. "So you're a murderer, huh?"

"Um...I-I guess..." I stutter.

Another one raises an eyebrow. "You guess?"

"Well...I did kill someone so...yes?"

"Natsu! Come look at this one." The first one called.

A man with pink hair comes out from behind two other people and towers over me.

He leans in, "What'd you do?"

I straighten up. "I killed my father."

"How?" He glares.

"How?" I repeat.

"How did you kill him?" He asks again, irritated.

I gulp, "I shot him..."

He grunts. "I guess we'll keep ya around for a bit...see what you're like..."

"You're actually gonna keep this one?" The first man steps forward.

The pink haired man looks back at him. "She gives off a certain vibe...that's the first trial. Sounds stupid, I know. But everyone gives off a vibe that tells something about them. This one has a very unique vibe...you have a pretty unique one too ya know."

"How come you feel this 'vibe' and we don't?"

He shrugs his shoulders. "I dunno."

The other man sighs in frustration and steps back to the others. The pink haired male looks back at me. He seems to scan me over before going back behind the others and steps into an ajoining jail cell that was connected and had a curtain separating the two rooms.

"Alright, Natsu chose to keep you for now so let's get you introduced!" A red haired woman smiles.

"My name is Erza. The one who also has a 'unique vibe' is Gray. The blue haired girl who's clinging to Gray's arm is Juvia. The other blue haired girl is Levy, and next to her is Gajeel. Lastly, we have the twins, Mira and Lisanna. Mira's the in with long hair and Lisanna has the short hair. And that's everyone!"

I go over the names again in my head to make sure I have them down. Everyone's been calling the pink haired guy Natsu so obviously that's his name.

"Soo...what do you guys mean when you say 'keep me'? It's a prison cell. I don't choose where I end up and neither do you." I say.

"Simple. We beat ya up till the guards are forced to move ya." Gajeel grunts.

I gulp. "Wh-What?"

"It's what we did to everyone else who didn't make it in." Gray states while attempting to get Juvia off of him.

I hope they keep me...

That sounded super weird.

Natsu comes back out and walks over to Erza and I.

"So what's your name; blondie?"

"...Lucy."
