"Do you still dream of him?"
"Not really." I lie, as I look into my therapist, Dr. Kim's eyes.
"Good. We'll have to down your medication then." He says.
If I would've told him the truth, the truth of the same recurring dream I have of Jimin, he'd simply just send in a prescription for more medication to fill my bloodstream with. Not that it works to keep the dreams away; and not that I even want them to go away.
Now, back to the dream.
Every week or so, I dream of Jimin and Lucas. I'd began having the dream about a year ago. When 'he' had began to change. In the dream we're together, walking through down a road. I'm walking ahead of them while they stay back behind me and goof around with each other. The air is fresh, and all of our heads are filled with no worry. It goes on like that for a while, just us, skipping through happiness.
Then as we reach the end of the road, a figure walks out from the tree line wearing a black sweatshirt with the hood up. He comes out to the middle of the road about 15 feet in front of us and stops; as do we.
He pulls his hood down and reveals the face of Lucas. But it's a much more darker Lucas; literally. The color is drained from his face, and his face is bruised and has cuts all over it as well.
I turn back to still see 'normal' Lucas and Jimin standing behind me still.
I turn back around and the 'dark' Lucas puts his hand into the hoodie pocket, pulling out a gun.
He points it in my direction and shoots, but instead of hitting me, it hits Jimin. Instantly killing him. But, the 'normal' Lucas has disappeared, as if to have never existed. I turn back around to face the 'dark' Lucas.
He slowly walks closer to me and stops right in front of me. He has a smirk on his bruised and cut up face; making him look a bit hot for some reason.
Then I wake up from the dream, with a tear rolling down my face.
It happens the same, every single time.
And you're probably wondering who the 'he' is that has changed.
Well, it's Lucas.
He's not him anymore.
Or maybe he is.
And this is just the real him.
