Faiths POV

This ring...

All the memories came back to me.

This is the promise ring Matt gave me. We promised one day we would get married and have children.

But no... I broke this promise.

I feel awful... I started to cry a lot, now I'm glad Im not wearing make up

"Faith are you okay? are you crying?" Brittany knocked on the door

"I'm not okay! t-the promise ring!"

"What?" she came into the room

I held up the ring

"This was ages ago! I'm sure he forgot!" she said

"But I broke our promise."

"It's going to be okay..." she said "don't cry please! today is a happy day!" she tried to make me smile

"How can I be happy now? when I marry Carter this ring will be a burden to me!" a sick feeling washed over me

" I need to see Matt..." I said

"Okay I'll call him over.."

In a few minutes Matt was kneeling next I me

"Matt." I cried

"Faith, why are you crying?" he was beyond worried

"Because I broke our promise..." I showed him the ring...

His eyes widened "Faith... I-I" he was lost for words

"No I know... I'm a awful person.. I broke a promise..." I sobbed

He sighed

"Faith. look at me." His hand cupped my cheek.

I looked at him

"I will always love you... What we had I thought would last forever... I miss laying in bed with you and going on dates and your kisses... but that was four years ago... I miss you so much... but we were always best friends, as we still are... So this promise can be changed... how about we promise to always be best friends..." he started to tear up "And I want you to marry Carter... I know you love him and he loves you so much... I want you to have memories with him and your daughter... You'll always be my best friend and I will always love you."

At this point we were both crying

"Thank you Matt... I love you so much... besties for life.." I hugged him with all I had

I took in a deep breath "look at me I'm a mess!" my eyes were red and a little puffy

Thirty minutes until the wedding.

"Okay I'm going to go now." he hugged me and left

I put some make up on

"Girls. lets do this." I said confidently

They all tackled me with hugs

I put my stilettos on and we got into the elevator.

We got to the top floor and all that was between me and carter was a hallway an a door.

Cameron, Brent, Nash, Matt, and Cam were all lined up waiting for the brides maids.

Brittany had to walk with Cameron since he's the best man and she's the Maid of honor...

Maggie was with Brent, Savanah walked with Nash, Cailynn with Cam, And Maggie with Brent.

They were all gone and it was just me, dad, Autumn, and Lucas.

"I'm so proud of you sweetie." my dad linked arms with me

"He's a good boy." He smiled

"Thanks dad." I kissed his cheek

The music started playing and the doors were opened.

I stopped breathing for a second as everyone stood up and turned to me.

Autumn threw the flower petals everywhere as she walked along with Lucas.

It seems like it took hours to get to the front "take care of my baby." my dad said to carter and sat next to my mom who was crying with Carter's mom.

"We gather here today-"The pastor guy said

"If anyone rejects to this marriage please speak now of forever hold your peace."

Everyone was silent

"Okay... do you Carter Reynolds take Faith Skyler to be your Lawfully wedded wife?"

He looked into my eyes, smiled, and said "I do."

"Do you Faith Skyler take Carter Reynolds to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do." I smiled

"You may kiss the bride."

Carter lifter my vail, flipped it over my hair , and pressed his lips against mine while everyone clapped
