Ladies let's be honest with ourselves for once; boys don't have hearts. They just don't. When was the last time you had a solid relationship with a guy where you didn't feel insecure? I think for most girls we have a 'real' relationship that lasts for maybe 5 months in Year 9, and you told each other you loved them but was it, love? Of course not, you idiot!
Or, if you're lucky, you may have a 'thing' with a guy once in a while. You know, where you text all the time and eventually, he overtakes your friends in your best friends list on snapchat, you two are really flirty with each other. And maybe he even tells you that he's interested in you, but oh no! Watch out! Here come the lies from the tall, skinny white boy!
Okay, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that they're not lying about liking you, they're just not interested in a relationship. Typical though, right? You spend all this time talking and getting to know them, just to be left on seen or ignored.
Was I pretty enough for him? If I say this will he leave me on seen? It says he's online now, why hasn't he answered?
I don't know about you, but I for one am done with all that shit. Why do I make myself wait until he texts me first? Shouldn't I feel confident enough in myself that I can take charge and say hello when I want to?
But alas, I guess I will always be this way, as will a lot of girls. I check my phone constantly, waiting for a text from him, and I'll reply in 5 minutes after he ignored me for 5 hours.
I just have to find the right guy.
