Death is a force which cannot be prevented unless a force greater than death itself can stop it. Jack's supposedly inherited magic was not greater than death, so Glinda and Justin knew that he was dead from before but for them there was no time to mourn. Which was not fair in the very least, Jack never wanted to be involved in this, forget dying. However he called it upon himself by wishing for a new life.

Glinda, was gobsmacked with what had happened but no fairy tale creature fets time to mourn. Not everything in a fairy tale is all smiles and sparkles it is aleays filled with villains who never die and never a happy ending. The lion pounced on her with its talons projecting out, it moved quite fast for a heavy lion and it was running as if it were racing the wind. Faster than Glinda's eyes could follow she, dodged the first jump of the lion and fell down beside the enchanted parting of the roads. She felt a piercing pain in her arm and saw a length long cut.

"Its not bleeding, that's good" thought Glinda. The cut was not deep but it still hurt a lot. Ahe had barely missed the lion's attack.

The lion came charging at her again and she projected a beam of light which hit the eyes of the lion and slowed him down. The shocked look on her face said it all, she had never faced anything that powerful.

" That shouldve killed him!" She shouted to Justin trying to get his attention.

After some time the lion too tirned to see Justin and saw him trying to make something with a soda bottle. The lion came charging at Justin and Justin released a little rocket with a pointy end powered by fizzed soda towards the lion but the lion knew better, with one swift move it dodged the bottle and used it's claws to destroy it and ripped it apart into shreds, however when the botle broke the pressure and the soda sprayed on the lion with such velocity that it made him stumble back. The lion then changed its form and turned into a full size dragon with green coloured scales and big moustaches. It was over thirty feet tall with a tail which could easily crush and kill them. It had furry eyebrows and spiky sharp teeth with which it could bite off Glinda into two with just one bite. It blew fire and Glinda jumped away and summoned a gust of wind to throw Justin away, who was frozen with terror as there is only so much mortal eyes can handle. A million thoughts were going through Glinda's mind, she needed time but that was something she did not have. She could still feel the fire's heat which was white and searing hot seconds after the fire was blown. The dragon then made a terrifying sound and came charging at them. Glinda was all out of ideas Justin was knocked unconscious from the impact of being thrown. She was defeated, she did not know what to do. Sometimes evil wins, she thought when a big explosion occurred behind them which also crossed the attention of the dragon and it stopped charging and turned to see what was happening.

At the hospital..........

Meanwhile, at the hospital as the inevitable is occurring and the magic pulls Jack to the lands far below and the doctors declare the time of death after trying everything seeing the heart machine out and everything for Jack, suddenly a purple wave just runs over then with such speed that it shouldve pushed the doctors to the wall, however they were as still as a statue of alabaster. The rime had frozen again. Jack's soul begins to be emerging from his body. The ghost looked the same as Jack just a lot more pale and where the eyes shouldve been were shadowy sockets. Frankly Ghost Jack looked around him and saw all the doctors in midway of announcing his death. One was reading his wristwatch, the other frowning and holding the heart starter and the third one looking at his chart. Other than him there were quite a few nurses running around or atleast frozen midway of their motion. After a while Jack realized time had again come to a stand still which meant that lion was coming! Glinda and Justin were nowhere to be seen.

"Why does this keep happening?" murmured Jack with slight panic in his voice.

Suddenly from the mouth of the wrist watch doctor a red wisp of smaoke cane out and began forming the shape of a stout human in front of Jack's bed. On seeing the figure, Jack felt a strange combination of emotions of anger and panic which began reducing him to tears.
