Your POV

You sighed as you looked out the window of your home. You wished to see all the beautiful colors your parents told you of. But you wouldn't ever be able to see them at least not until you met your soulmate, the one person who is to help complete you and give you the ability to see color. Your mom used to tell you how she met your father every night before you went to bed when you were younger. They were both at a party and your mom was just talking to her friends when this dorky looking guy fell at her feet. When she helped him up and looked into his eyes that's when everything changed for her. That's when she realized who her soulmate was.

"Sweetie?" Your mom called out making you look to her

"Yes mom?" You asked standing to your feet

"Why don't you take the car and go out for a bit sweetheart" She suggested "Maybe get some air?"

You nodded and took the keys from her hand, you knew she just wanted you to get out of the house and stop moping around but you couldn't help it. Most people found their soulmates within a month of turning 18 but it had been a year for you. Your hands gripped the steering wheel as you drove to the city, you decided to go get some ice cream go try and light your spirits but deep down you knew it wouldn't work.

"One waffle cone with a scoop of cookie dough please" You said handing the cashier your money.

You waited patiently for the sweet treat as the person got it for you. You quickly thanked them and left, you sat on some chairs outside and frowned as you spotted happy couples together. You felt even more glum than when you'd left the house at this point. You sighed and stared at the cone that was wrapped in your small hand, the ice cream dripping down it. You grumbled and decided to just throw it away and wipe your hands.

"Ethan!" A deep voice yelled making shivers go down your spine

You looked up and saw this one buff guy laughing as he ran towards the ice cream shop. You squeaked as the second guy ran into you, your eyes squeezed shut as you awaited the impact of the ground but it never came. You slowly opened your arms and realized that the second boy had you pressed against his chest.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to almost know you over" He said going to look at you but your mind was trained on the way his body felt against yours. You slowly peaked up at him and looked into his eyes. At that moment everything changed, his whole was stripped of the black and white and instead replaced with color.

"Holy shit" You breathed out as he cupped your cheek with one hand

"I know I don't know your name yet but I just need to kiss you" He mumbled leaning in closer

You didn't even try to push him away as he placed his lips on yours. Everything felt perfect in that moment. Your hands tangled in his soft hair as he pulled back slowly, eyes twinkling in the brightness of the sun.

"I'm Grayson" He lowly said

"Y/N" You smiled leaning forward and placing a quick kiss to his lips again.

"It's nice to finally find you" He grinned "it's been a year too long"

"You don't know how glad I am to have found you" You grin "I really thought you didn't exist"

"Same" He laughed holding your hand as you guys stood a bit further apart.

His brother stood off to the side awkwardly rubbing his neck as he stared at the two of you. Your eyes focused on him as a small smile formed on your face.

"I'm Y/N" You said sticking your hand out for him to shake

"Ethan" He shyly grinned "I'm his twin"

"I see the resemblance" You chuckled

Grayson wrapped his arms around you and stuck his face in your neck kissing it lightly making you giggle. You were so glad to have finally found your soulmate that you didn't care that everyone had seen the whole interaction.

"Im all yours" Grayson softly said

"And I'm yours" You smile
