"I can't stand this school man I can't wait to get out, but I do owe it to my mama to walk across that stage." I was smoking and venting to my best friend Naiomi.
Me and Naiomi has been friends since diapers. My mom knows her mom, because they were best friends since middle school. Naiomi is like my human diary, I'm talking to her about how school has been stressing me out.
"Well Mosey remember how you was telling me that you wanted to get in the studio?"
"Yea, why?"
"I asked TJ, about letting you go to his studio and he said he don't mind, because you like family."
TJ is Naiomi big brother, me and him are close too it's just the age difference as to why we don't hang out like that.
"Whole time I ain't even know bro had a studio." I said blowing the smoke out. "Yea, just lmk when and I'll give him the word."
"Thanks Nai that means a lot."
"You know I got you, so are you spending the night?"
"Yea, let me just tell my mom."
This isn't anything new either I spend the night ova her her house or she come ova my house whenever we are upset about something.
I went home to tell my mom, I didn't need to get clothes because I always leave some at Naiomi house and she has clothes at my house.
Naiomi
While I was waiting for him to get back I was just thinking about our relationship. I have had a crush on him since I could remember, but I don't want him to be different around me if he doesn't feel the same way. Imma just wait until he tells me eventually rather he likes me or not.
After about a half an hour he came and he was telling me about this girl he liked. I'm not gon lie I was a little salty but I listened because I'm his best friend and I got to be there for him.
"Mosey if you like her just tell her."
"If she doesn't feel the same way the relationship will be different."
"If you have a close relationship then I'm sure she's already into you just ask her are the feelings are mutual."
I was honestly irritated, because I thought I made it clear that I have feelings for him I guess it wasn't enough, but I'm not gon force anything imma let it come natural.
LATHAN (Mosey)
I was telling Nai about this girl I like, and she was giving me good advice. I'm gon ask her to be my girl, tonight at this party. I asked Nai if she wanted to sneak out and go to the party, and she said yea.
When everybody in her house was asleep we hopped out the window and dipped.
When we got there me and Nai split up and I went to go find Sky (the girl Mosey likes) when I found her I told her my feelings about her and I asked her to be my girl, but she started acting different in front of this other nigga.
She started laughing in my face and telling me that I was ugly, and that she would never date me. I'm not gon lie I was a little hurt but then, all of a sudden someone started sending blows to her face. I saw that it was Naiomi, so I tried to pull her off of Sky but she wasn't budging.
Naiomi
I went to get a drink and came back and saw Mosey telling the girl, I'm guessing the girl that he was telling me about earlier her his feelings about her. She started laughing in his face and clowning him in front of all these people, and you not gon disrespect my bestfriend like that, so I blacked out on her.
I felt Mosey pulling me off of her, but I was just wailing on her. I stopped when blood was all over my shirt and me and Mosey ran back to the house. When we got back to my house I took off my clothes and ran the shower. When I got out and got dressed I went back in the room, and Mosey was sitting on my bed.
"Nai thank you I really appreciated everything you do for me I love you, you know that right?"
"Yea and I hope you know I love you too."
I got on my phone and I could see that he was staring at me from the corner of my eye, I put my phone down and started looking at him.
"What are you looking at."
"You have really pretty eyes Nai."
Oh well than—
I got cut off by him kissing me. I didn't hesitate to kiss back I can't believe this was really happening.
"Naiomi will you be my girl?"
"Of course I will Lathan."
