Optimus is having a battle against himself as he blames himself for many things and feels tired and want to give up yet as a prime he can't do that he have to go forward and help, and he knows his leadership is the best.

Reader snap him out of it and stays with him telling him stories about her life and try to tell him it's ok to talk about it and let things out once in a while.

Optimus was staring at himself when he first arrived on earth. When he sent Bumblebee  to earth to make a base. or so called younger self. remembering the war back at Cybertron it just remind him how the responsibilities he still have on his shoulder and later, years after years how it felt more heavier.

Quintessa messed with his processor, maybe that's why he suddenly feel so much guilty. maybe this is a side effect. everything around him is black and grey like he's inside of a big nothingness.
