Oh yes. Here we go. Don't we all just LOVE the topic of boys? I know I do!

Many teenager girls go to high school (if your homeschooled I bet you can feel this way at church or at events) and you are constantly surrounded by people who are OBSESSED with boys. If you have a boyfriend, you are totes amazing! (totally ignore what I just said please)

This is more than just in high school though. The idea of having a boyfriend
has manifested its way into our brains by social media.

Ever heard of this:

"I just want a VSCO boyfriend!"
or the most classic:
"I just want a boyfrienddddd."

I know I have.

Now, don't get me wrong, this is completely cute and innocent but it can make single ladies feel as if they are deprived from some type of love

I know recently when I have been feeling lonely and like I want a boyfriend, I scroll through VSCO or Pinterest and just WANT that kind of love from a guy.
But God loves us so much more than that. We deserve more than a guy who wants our scrunchies and sends cute texts.
We should want a man who KNEELS at the feet of Jesus and prays for us. He should love God more than he loves you.
And trust me ladies, oh please trust me, boys right now (age 14-18+) are immature. They can't do that. Now there probably are some out there and I know I have met one, but they usually have their eyes fixed on Jesus until they feel as if it is time for a girl. <—— That is what you need.

Don't settle for less. You are worth SO much and you are loved beyond measure.
