Years long ago before the king of this land was born. The evil creatures of the night rule the world. The demons are the one who stood up in the food chain along with their golem army, they made the humans as their own toys and slaves. Abused and starved leaving them to perish in the dark forest left for the wild animals to devour. That era is one of the darkest days in the human history.
Until one day, the goddess of the sun named Sol feel sympathy for the humans and decided to help them. From her powerful blood she created beautiful being who had magical powers, to free the human beings in the hands of the demons. She called her creations "the witches of the dawn". Like the sun who gives light to this dark world, the witches were the hope of mankind. They defeated the demons, crushed the golems into dust, and killed every evil creatures of the night who blocks their way, to save the humans and gave them the freedom that they crave. Everyone was overjoyed when they are finally released from years of captivity. There is no more torture and nights of suffering in the hands of those evil creatures. At last, they can see the light and live a peaceful life.
To help them in their new acquired freedom, the witches created civilizations with the use of the natural resources in the land, educated the citizens, mold selected people of the goddess into the kings of the country and help them rule each country with a heart of gold. Everything was in perfection and in the right place. The civilization's progressed and the people live without worry under the new monarch. Years went pass, the humans and the witches live in harmony for decades.
One fruitful night, when the governess of the highest witch's coven gave birth to a new witch, the sun told them that she will be the most powerful witch to ever exist. Possessing the combined power of the sun and the moon. She will bring prosperity to the land. But the current kings were threatened, they feared of what power the child may have. Driven by their greed to stay at the top, thus they decided to create an alliance and execute every witch in sight. For months, there is no day or night that a single witch was not beheaded, burned, and killed till there is no witch left in the world.
