The Gala: Chapter 1

Allison's POV

Ugh, I've always hated these Gala's, I don't understand why I even come to these anymore. Then I hear... oh no.

"Ms. Miller! Ms. Miller! Can I have a quote on this Charity Ball?" A reporter says.

I hate reporters, they never leave you alone. I swear, one time, one was stalking me when I was taking a shower. It gives me the chills to even remeber it. "Ah, yes. I think that Charity Balls are a way to help the children in need of help. Because if we don't, then who will?" I honestly say.

The reporter just nodds in agreement. I give him a small smile and make my way inside. As I enter I take a look around. The place had huge chandeliers and many beautiful paintings. I take a seat at the nearest table. I observe everything carefully. Everything was so big and beautiful, I've always been to these types of events, but this time it was different. Everything was more grand and a little more... shiny. And the decore is quite fancy, as well.

I get thirsty so I decide to go get a drink. I head over to the refreshments table, when I trip on my dress, great. As I fall I feel someone grab my hand. I stare at them in shock, that they were able to grab me so fast. Then I realize it's Mr. Wayne.

"Are you okay, Miss?" He asks.

"Ah, yes. Thank you for the save, Mr. Wayne." I say giving him a genuine smile. "Anytime, and Please call me Bruce", he says smiling back. "Well, my name is Allison, Allison Miller and please call my Ally." I say. "Wait, don't you run Miller Enterprises?" (Again totally made up) He asks. "Yes, in fact I do believe, we've been partners before, as I recall." I tell him. "Ah yes. Well I look forward to partnering, again." He says. I raise an eyebrow and smile. "Uh, I mean Wayne Tech and Miller Enterprises." He says quickly. Iet out a small giggle, "As do I."

"Would you care to dance?" He asks, offering his hand.

I give a smirk. "That would be wonderful", I say taking his hand.

Then we make our way towards the center of the ballroom. And we dance the night away. I knew I immediately fell in love, and in a way I had never been in love.

_Time Skip because I'm lazy_

After we were done dancing I check the time. My eyes widen, I had a meeting with the board tommorow! Had dancing really take that long?!

I turn to Bruce and say, "I'm sorry I should really be going." He gives a small smile. "No, I understand maybe we can have dinner at my place tomorrow", He says as he he gives me card with his number. Then I give him my number. A give him a smile. "I look forward to that, thank you for the dance, have a goodnight." I say. "You as well. And I look forward to dinner, too." He says. I give him a smile and leave. Had I really just fell in love with Bruce Wayne.

What. The. Hell.
