It was her first interview she'd ever done and it had only been two weeks after the magazine came out

She finds herself drying her clammy hands on her jeans from time to time as the host asks her multiple questions from across the table

The interview was for a small YouTube channel that interviews unknown artists for their blogs and newsletters, Alex didn't care about how much recognition she'd get, she only cared about having this experience

"So how long have you been doing this?" He asked

"I started learning instruments when I was ten or eleven which was also the same time I began to dabble with song writing. They weren't good songs but they were something. Then after awhile of doing that I found this site called YouTube and I was like well here's my chance I'm just gonna post my songs on here and show my family and friends so yeah if you look back to my old videos you'll see them, some are private, thankfully, but I left some of the cute ones"

"Well it really did pay off because here you are" she threw her hands slightly up and shrugged, letting out a cheerful laugh "yeah it's pretty wild"

"I bet. And you're only 17 correct?" "Correct" "how was it moving out here? Did your parents come with you?"

"It's been amazing. My parents are still in Chicago but my best friend Lisa just few out to see me last month and I've met some amazing people who really make me feel comfortable"

"Speaking of new friends, I hear you're friends with Ethan Dolan now"

She knew this question was gonna pop up. She smiled and rolled her eyes from her guess

"Rumor has it...you two are a thing...is that true?"

"We are just friends"

"Uh I don't think friends flirt with eachother on social media" the host laughed

"They do. Maybe you don't have the right friends. But no seriously he's a really sweet guy and one of my best friends"

Technically, she gave the best answer she could. They weren't officially dating so she couldn't have given them a clear answer

They had however, had their first kiss

About a couple weeks ago, before the magazine got released, they were at a party at Tim's house

It wasn't a wild, girls dancing on tables crazy. It was just a simple house party with a couple friends

Ethan and Alex had danced the whole night forgetting that they had other friends to dance with

As the night closed they all went home. However, Ethan claimed he was too drunk to drive home. Even though he had only drank one beer

Grayson had already left the party with a girl from the party so Alex offered to drive him home. But Ethan didn't want to bother his brother so Alex brought him to her house

As the three of them walked to the door, Lisa walked inside and winked at Alex

Small droplets fell on their heads and the sky became even darker

It was rare for it to rain in LA

Alex covered her eyes with her hand as she looked up at Ethan, waiting to see his reaction to this bizarre weather

Instead, he grabbed her hand, placed it by her waist, wrapped his hand around her cheek and kissed her

Their lips got tangled together for a couple minutes until Ethan broke them apart

"I wasn't drunk" he said. "Yeah" she laughed "I know"

"Nice. Now Alex our time is ending but I do have one final question, if you can let us know, is there any music or anything big that were expected to see sometime soon?"

She smiled thinking of the multiple things her and her manager had discussed. "The only thing I can really tell you is that my single is coming out in a couple weeks and there may or may not be a music video coming out a couple days after along with it"

"Awesome. Well it was so nice talking with you Alex and I hope we'll see you again. Until next time guys"
