The Gauntlet

(Day before the Gaunlet)
Drake was hanging at the park to chill before his match tomorrow. He looked around to see what he could do and he decided to take a jog around the park. In the middle of his jog he was stopped by some Raw wrestlers.

Seth: Hey Drake, how is it going man

Drake: not bad dude how about you guys

Roman: we're not doing bad, oh by the way we saw your matches last week. Not bad almost had your title shot with one fight instead of two.

Finn: That second match was Too sweet.

Drake: well I got to go guys, I need to get some rest before the Gauntlet.

Drake left them and started his way back to his hotel (((((((just in case I haven't stated Drake lives in a hotel right now because he hasn't found a house he wants))))) He was a block away from his hotel and he saw Liv Morgan and froze up looking at her beauty.

Liv: Uh hi Drake

Drake didn't move and say anything so she waved in front of his eyes.

Drake: wait what.... hi

Liv: what happened to you,  You seem like you saw a ghost.

Drake: I thought i saw something but I guess it was nothing

Liv: Hmm ok, Well any idea if your winning the Gauntlet

Drake: nope. I hope I do though anyways I have to go get some rest before tomorrow

He left before she could say bye.

(NXT)
Hunter: You ready for the Gauntlet

Drake: not really but I'm going to do it ready or not.

They all had their numbers and the first two were already in the ring  Lee and Strong. Lee didn't last that long since he was caught off guard by Fish tripping him so Strong could get the pin.

1, 2, 3

Matt was thrown out the entrance by Kyle and Strong pinned him too. 1, 2, 3
Number 4 came out and it was Adam Cole. Him and Strong had a stare down until Fish and Kyle came in to stop them and they jumped Adam Cole.

Announcer: Did they just betray Cole

Announcer 2: Yes they did.

Strong pinned Adam after hitting the end of heartache. 1, 2, 3. A dude with a mask jumped over the barricade while Fish and Kyle were attacking Cole outside the ring. The dude took them both out with a shotgun dropkick. He helped Cole up and took off his mask.

Announcer: Oh my god  Drake just save Cole

Announcer 2: Cole need back up and Drake gave him it.

Drake got in the ring and started swinging at Strong and then got him in a figure four but strong got out. Drake looked at the crowd with a smirked than hit Strong with The End Of Heartache.

1, 2, 3

Ring announcer: Your winner and the new NXT champion  Drake Davis. Strong, Fish and Kyle surrounded the ring and attacked Drake. Cole jumped and the ring and helped him take them out.

Announcer: This is crazy New champion.

Announcer 2: Plus Drake and Cole fighting put Cole's old teammates.

Cole and Drake grabbed a mic and yelled at them

Cole: You traitors I will be coming for you

Drake: why wait Adam let's go get them now.

Triple H's music came on and he walked out.

Hunter: This NXT takeover it will be Drake, Adam and a partner of their choosing vs Strong, Fish and Kyle.

I had to add the twist of The Betrayal keep a look out for clues of the mystery partner.
