I hope I did good enough (even though it's, once again, a totally different ship)

Making Memories:

"This was our old home." Dream showed Nightmare the house.

"It seems like it was a lovely place to grow up in." Nightmare adjusted his glasses, responding blankly.

"I-it was..." Dream looked down. He turned back to his twin, remembering how it was when they first moved into this house. Nightmare's hair was slightly longer at the time, and how scared and anxious he was about moving here he was. Now look at him, a totally different person. Can he even call him Nightmare anymore?

"Lets go inside." Nightmare began his way in, carrying his luggage.

"Mom, I don't know. This isn't going to be the same, it hurts..." Dream looked at his mother with sad eyes.

"I'm sure it will be fine! We can make new memories and tell Nighty all about the old ones we still have!" His mother, Adia, gave her short son a hug before lugging some bags in.

"Okay..." Dream muttered, going in himself.

"This is beautiful, Mother!" Nightmare exclaimed, amazed by the inside of the large house.

"It is. Would you like me to show you to your room?" Adia smiled sweetly.

"Yes please!" He held her hand as she lead him to his old room, where he would now move back into. Dream walked to his old room, flipping on the light. The person who lived here last had a little girl- and painted his once golden walls pink. Not to mention all of the marker, crayon, pen, and paint mess the girl had left on the walls. Luckily, the wall he painted himself was untouched, even by the child. The painted tree  had heart-like golden apples painted.

"Thank the sun." Dream sighed in relief, putting his bag down.

"Dream, Mother said-" Nightmare stopped, taking in the paint on Dream's walls. "Uh, have your walls always been this... pink?"

"No, the girl who had this room had my walls painted." Dream groaned, knowing he would have to repaint it.

"If it makes you feel better, there were two brothers in mine. They ruined every wall, not to even mention the ceiling."

"They ruined the tree painting?!"

"Yes, was it important?" Nightmare seemed surprised by Dream's worriedness about the mural.

"We painted it together! I can't believe the parents these kids had! I swear, if I ever see those little-"

"Brother, it's okay! We can always paint it again! It'll be even better then last time!" The taller calmed the shorter down.

"I'm sorry, Nighty, I just... I can't believ what kind of people we rented our home to!" Dream looked around his ruined room. "Was ghee something you needed me for?"

"Oh yes!  Mother said that we can walk around! Hey ice cream, maybe?" Nightmare smiled.

"Okay, lets go!" Dream grabbed his wallet and phone before the two left. They had seen many places that seemed so familiar to Nightmare, but he couldn't put his finger on it. Dream told him a few stories as they passed by, making Nightmare feel better.

"Nighty? Dream? Is that you?" A voice, one Nightmare wished he could name, called out.

"Nightmare, we should leave." Dream began dragging his brother away.
