Dances were always treated like a huge festival. The whole Day Class student body went all out to impress the Night Class. You were with Hanabusa and Kaname talking to Headmaster Cross about the details.
"Now I know that you have everything under control with the Night Class Kaname, but as headmaster I must tell you this." Headmaster Cross began
Kaname stood there perfectly, waiting for Cross to speak. You and Hanabusa stood beside him, waiting for Kaname to give you orders.
"I do not want anyone manipulating the Day Class. All of you are to interact with them in a friendly manner." Cross said
"I understand, so I'm assuming you will have the Disciplinary Committee on duty." Kaname said
"Yes, Yuki and Zero will be on duty." Cross said
Your eyes widened at the mention of Zero. Ever since you enrolled, you've had your eye on the lilac eyed Vampire Hunter. Zero was the one that the whole Day Class was scared off, and he even scared some of the Night Class. From what you've learned, Zero is very good at his job, and very loyal to his friend Yuki Cross. You were a aristocrat vampire from a noble family as well known and powerful as the Kurans. You knew that Zero hated vampires, but for some reason you were drawn to him, and you wanted to know more about him.
"Do you think you can handle that ____?"
You looked at Kaname and realized he was talking to you.
"I'm sorry Kaname, can you say that again?" You asked sweetly
"You're going to be working with Yuki and Zero, making sure everything goes smoothly at the dance. Hanabusa will be with you for extra help. I expect you both to do your best." He repeated.
"Understood. There wont be any problems." You said
"Excellent! You two may go back to your dorm now." Cross said
You and Hanabusa bowed and quickly left. The dance was in two days which meant that you would have to meet Yuki and Zero soon. Aido yawned beside you, squinting his blue eyes at the morning suns' rays.
"So ___ why were you so excited to hear that we will be working with the Hunter and Yuki?" Aido asked suddenly
"What are you talking about Aido?" You asked looking forward
"Don't play dumb with me. Not only did your eyes light up, your fangs poked out a little too." He said while grinning.
"For one, my eyes don't light up. Second, I'm just really hungry, that's all." You replied
"______ you're a horrible liar." Aido said while stepping in front of you, still grinning.
"I've known you all my life, and I'm sure Ruka and Kain noticed your behavior too," He said while lifting your chin up, so that your faces were only inches apart. "You have a thing for the Hunter."
You narrowed your gaze and moved his hand away from you.
"I do NOT have a thing for him. A pure breed with a Hunter? That's crazy." You said
That only made Aido smile wider and his eyes looked behind you.
"Well then since you don't have feelings for him I suggest you turn around and put on your best face." He said before backing away and moved next to you. You turned around and saw Yuki and Zero walking up to you in their uniforms. Yuki looked quite happy, while Zero had his normal grumpy face.
