Why Red Eyes

So some might wonder, what is up with the red eyes?! I can tell ya, when I was a kid, I would glare at the mirror just for fun, I don't know if it was real or not, but my eyes would look oddly darker shade of brown, as red, and I would run away from the mirror in fear (lol-)

As I grew up, recently as I was truly pissed off, my classmates told me that my eyes would look almost like red,

But also! Why not golden?! My eyes do get a clear shade of bright brown as I am happy, but I have always loved red, that is why, as I had always adored Shadow the hedgehog as a kid, And underfell Sans as a teenager that I am--
