After 20 minutes of searching, Carson finds Adam back at the diner. Through the window, Carson can see him sitting alone at a table for two, tears streaming down his face. Carson considers if he should console him, but the choice becomes clear when he sees Adam's tears dripping into his coffee and then drinking that coffee.

When he walks in, Adam tries to shoo him away, but he runs out of steam shortly after. Carson sits across from him and takes Adam's hands in his. Adam's hands flinch briefly, but he accepts Carson's gesture.

"Adam. You've gotta tell me what's going on with you recently."

Carson says softly. Adam's tears start streaming again for a moment before clearing up to answer him.

"....Ever since you became the top Crafter...I've just been so jealous of your success and I couldn't handle being pushed to the side."

Adam turns away from Carson out of embarrassment, but is brought back by the gentle smile he can see from the corner of his eye. Carson's expression has shifted to a soft and inviting look.

"sigh I never meant to make you feel this way, Adam. I'm sorry that I've been taking over the community and leaving no room for the other crafters, who care about it whole heartedly."

Carson said, while unconsciously scooting his chair towards Adam.

"That's not the only reason I've been acting like this."

Said Adam, surprising Carson. "It's not?" Carson questioned. "

"Well....I didn't want to come forward with this, but I have to get it out of me. I... like you, Carson. Like, really like you."

Carson sit's back in shock for moment before leaning back in towards Adam. He moved his chair closer to Adam and began to embrace him. "Adam, I... like you too."

The two sat in each other's embrace for a short while, enjoying the other's company, until the door of the diner slammed open.

WHAMM! "There you two are!"

Carson and Adam jumped away from each other and gave a quick, panicked glance back and forth.

"We've been looking all over for you! Come on, there's still time to make it back to the panel!"

Carson and Adam looked at the others, contemplating for a moment. Adam's aloof expression the group had seen earlier, was nowhere to be found. Replaced by the happiest face they'd seen from him in a long time.

"Actually..." Adam said. "We'd like to go someplace more private."
