Soo
8 hours until dawn

Soo watched couples from the dappled shadows of palm trees outside. The warm air that ruffled the fronds above was filled with an erotic crescendo of pleasured moaning. Masked guests bore their bodies to each other as they surrendered to their most primal desires. It was interesting to watch strangers, freed of all their inhibitions, move between partners. An interchangeable part to the writhing mass of naked bodies.

The moon was full and tinged red, hanging like an angry God in the night sky above Soo's head. It illuminated the festivities in a strange glow, staining the world in its sinful hue. Soo had been silently overseeing The Harvest unfold from within the safety of the tropical foliage. She had yet to see Hei-Ran or Geon. San, he main target, proved to be the most elusive of all.

But Soo was far from bored.

She had her eye on two men in particular. They were tucked away from everyone else speaking to each other in hushed tones. They weren't fucking each other, which was odd in and of itself. One of them had piqued her interest earlier from getting into an altercation with another guest. She had always found violence particularly titillating and hadn't been able to look away from their confrontation. So she observed the brunet and his new companion from while hidden in the dark. Unable to hear what they were saying Soo slinked closer, mindful to not alert them to her presence.

She got behind a tall hedge that separated her from the pair of men. She could make out murmurs of their conversation through the leaves. "I know there's something strange going on..." She overheard the deeper of the two voices say. This particular statement drew her interest. She wondered at just how much these two were aware of their situation. If they knew what participating in The Harvest entailed... Soo stood deathly still and strained to make out more of their conversation.

"..can't really tell you who I am or why I'm here..." She heard a different voice respond. Soo's lips curled into a sinister smile behind her blood flecked mask. These two definitely made an interesting pair... It seemed as though their intentions were vastly different from the other guests at the party. Not only were they alert enough to be wary, they were forming some sort of alliance. "Interesting..." Soo whispered under her breath.

They were prey that had knowingly walked into an elaborate trap.. Now the question was, why had they? What exactly did they know? Soo was now dying to find out for herself. She knew if she played her cards right, that she may even find a way to use the two of them to her advantage.

"...stay close to me the rest of the night." The voice finished. Soo listened for a another minute longer until she heard their footsteps fade away. She tip toed around the hedge and watched the two men disappear back into the mansion.
