You would be slowly woken up by the movement of your own body, and you knew full well what was up. Chanyeol was awake and wanted attention. You were now fully awake but felt like testing the patience of the giant. You continued to keep your eyes closed, trying to hold back your smile. You feel his strong arms pull you towards his chest, his soft lips pecking your forehead. No matter how energetic he may be during the day, he was always sweet and caring in the mornings. You wouldn't be able to help the smile that rolled over your lips when you heard his impatient whine. You would open your eyes, being met with the giant puppy man's pout. You would take this opportunity to steal a kiss from him, his lips curving up at the feeling of your lips on his. Once the kiss had ended, you two would rest your heads on his pillow nose to nose. "There's my baby. How's my y/n doing this morning?" He'd ask in his deep, raspy, and spine chilling morning voice. His warm breath hitting your lips would cause you to practically melt in his arms, and he knew it. "Well, I got to wake up next to the man I love and then I got to feel his lips on mine. So pretty good." You'd say with a smile, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes before resting your forehead back on his. Chanyeol would lay on his back before pulling you on top of his chest, his protective arm holding you close to him. He would put the blanks over the two of you as you rested your head on his collar bone, his free hand making it's way to your hair. "It's moments like these that make me feel so lucky to be with you. You always know how to be so sweet and how to make me feel so protected and-" you would be cut off by a small groan and shudder from Chanyeol. "S-sorry Jagiya. It's just, your breath...warm on my neck...eh heh ahem," he'd say his body heating up slightly.
