Chapter 3

The next day ,Saturday evening ...

Amour POV
I bounced the basketball as I got closer to the court. I come here almost every weekend just to clear my mind or play ball.Today I'm doing both yesterday was just too much. I started looking around the court seeing some of my friends. I walked towards them.

"Heyyy dummy" I said throwing the ball at my boy best friend ,Nick

"Yo if you don't take your short ass somewhere " he said laughing. He always calling me short , he not even that taller than me

"You not even that taller than me " I rolled my eyes . He threw the ball back at me .

I left from where he was and started balling by myself. I was shooting the ball through the basket , then I noticed Darryl, Xzayvion, and Sev walking towards the bleachers talking to Leah and Chrissy . Ugh what is he doing here man. I just continued doing what I was doing until Nick came and took the ball from me .

"Lets make a deal if I win you gotta go on a date with me and if you win I'll give $20" he said .

"Okay get ready to lose " I said taking the ball from him .

"Check" I said throwing the ball to him then he threw it back.

We began playing for a few minutes but I got distracted when Xzayvion kept looking at me .

"Amour! " Nick yelled getting  my attention.

"My bad " I said as he threw the ball towards me.

Since I got distracted, Nick beat me by 3 points I was mad cause he never beat me before.

"Welp I guess I'll  see you Friday @7 "Nick said smirking at me.

"You won by luck but okay " I said.

I sat down on the bleachers beside Leah.

"Hey Darryl, hey Sev" I spoke to them.

"Wassup" they both responded. I felt somebody staring a whole in my face , I already knew it was Xzayvion so I didn't even bother to look up . I felt my phone vibrate so I looked down seeing Xzayvion texted me .

Xzayvion🙄

Xzayvion🙄: Why you doing all that 😐
         Me: what exactly am I doing ?
Xzayvion🙄: know what just come to my car so we can talk.
       Me: no I'm good we don't have nun to y'all bout I told you it was good
Xzayvion 🙄: I'm not playing with you Amour come here .
       Me: I'm not playing either I said no😂

This nigga funny he got a whole girl but steady tryna get me to talk to him. I'm not about to entertain no boy .....I mean man who has a girlfriend.

"Y'all tryna go to the mall" Chrissy ask

"I'll go " I said as Leah said the same .

" Damn i would go but I gotta take my lil sister to her doctors appointment " Darryl said.

"I gotta go handle sum " Sev said looking up from his phone getting up and leaving.

"Oh okay well Amour , Leah , and I will just go" she said.

Since Sev and Darryl left and Nick been gone we all got up and walk towards the exit . We all were headed towards my car but I felt somebody grab my arm.

"Let me holla at you right quick " Xzayvion said .

I pulled my arm away from him. "No I'm boutta go somewhere " I said rolling my eyes.

"Girl go head we'll wait in your car " Leah said looking like she wanted to laugh. I glared at her and sucked my teeth. I turned around to face Xzayvion.

"What do you want Xzayvion I got somewhere to go and u getting in the way of that "

"Why you ignoring me " he asks

"This conversation already because I feel like you wasting my time like I really wanna get to the mall before it close and I don't wanna talk to somebody who has a girlfriend , i told you we good I just don't want to associate with you while u have a girl that's disrespectful and I wouldn't want nobody to do that to me so I aint gon do it to nobody else ." I said looking at him.

"Man look I like yo vibe , we ain't even doing nun but just chilling as friends it ain't nun wrong with that " he said

"What part of I - you know what okay fine " I said.

"Now stop being so stuck up and give me a hug or sum damn"he said pulling me towards him but I pushed him away from me.

"No I'm good I still don't like the fact that you lied to me "

"My bad fo that ma" he said looking at me .

"Mhm okay I'll see you later friend " He pulled me towards him again ,  hugging me this time . He smells good......

"Call me later aiight" he said in my ear.

"Okay " I pulled away from the hug going to my car . I got inside seeing Leah & Chrissy laughing .

"What happened to 'Oh I'm never talking to him again he lied to me 'and this and that" Leah said laughing .

"I hate y'all right now " I said pulling off laughing .

This chapter was ehh.....but I'll get better with updating on time . And trust me this book will start to get interesting okay! But sorry for any mistakes thanks for reading💓
