As I cautiously walked through the double doors of Washington Spring, I managed to spot my best friend,Lucas talking to one of his friends near the bench, next to the water fountain. I didn't want to bother him, so I just walked passed him, and walked to my locker taking out the stuff that I needed for class. Before slamming my locker shut, Lucas did it for me.
"Hey babe" He whispered in my ear. I chuckled and smiled at the cuteness, right before me.
"Hi Lucas" I raised my eyebrows as I said so. Lucas swung his arm around my shoulder and began walking me to class. Though his classroom was all the way on the other side of campus. We finally reached my class and instead of hugging me, he kissed my cheek.
"Have fun" I told him. He nodded before disappearing out of sight.
I sat down and our teacher, Ms. Huntersin started with the lesson. But, like always I wasn't paying attention, I took a glismp out the window, and thought about Lucas.
Lucas Dylan Santander, my best friend, also known as, Washington Springs popular boy. Yea, I know shocker. Lucas and I have been best friends since the 2nd grade. He's always been the popular boy, while I always been the outcast that nobody seems to ever notice. Its like he's a well-liked superhero and I'm just his brainy sidekick. I closed my eyes, bracing myself. I couldn't keep the thoughts out of Lucas, it was like they were meant to stay there. Lucas always had friends, but some were just gold diggers, and popularity seekers.... They used him for popularity but they never succeeded. Its been 10 years of knowing him. He's turning 18 in two more month and I'm turning 18 on Christmas Eve. Lucas is just magnificent flawless, he has no flaws what so ever and everyone... I mean everyone...admires him. Boys want to be him and girls wants to get into his pants. Lucas Dylan Santander... Even his name is gorgeous... He's just so amazing.... I didn't even know I fell asleep when I felt myself being shaken. Not knowing who the person was , I slowly opened my eyes, hoping it wasn't the teacher. Luckily, it wasn't. It was the principal.
Damn....
"Good Morning Madison. Had a lovely nap?" She asked. The Principal,Ms.Knotzie was a beautiful lady. She was tall, and slim. She had long, blonde hair and green eyes. Her face was oval-shaped and her lips were pink. She was wearing a black, tight dress, that made her butt pop out. Her hair was out, and wavy and she was wearing her heels, that made her look beautiful.
"Yes" I slowly told her.
"Good.. You can go to class now Ms.Winters. Don't let me catch you sleeping again, or I'll have to make appointments with your parents...... Again..... For the 8th time."
"Sorry Ms.Knotzie... Have a nice day" I gathered my things and met Luke at his locker which was two lockers away from mines.
"Got caught sleeping again?" He asked.
"Yea, this time by Ms.Knotzie."
"Isn't this your 8th time getting caught by her?" He asked. I nodded and hugged him.
"Hey, what's up?" He asked me, resting his chin on my head, and wrapping his muscular arms around my petite body.
"The sky"
"No,I mean. What's wrong?"
"Nothing, I just need a hug baby. That's all." I smiled.
"Oh okay" he said before hugging me tightly. He let go and walked me to my next class and kissed my forehead and headed to his next class. I smiled as he walked away and entered my class. I sat all the way in the back of room. I took out my notebook and a pen from my pencil case and began writing what was on the smart board. I couldn't concentrate because Lucas was on my mind. Again. I don't think I like him. He's my best friend and I love him as a brother. Right? Plus, I bet he doesn't love me more than his best friend. He is the most popular guy in school. He always has time for me. He makes time...for us.
