"Hurry up Draco. We're going to be late." My father, Lucius Malfoy bellowed through Malfoy Manor. He was going to Hogwarts today. Starting first year. He was adamant he was going to be in Slytherin. I wish I could go with him. We were pretty much inseparable. But there is a year between us both, Draco being a year older than me.
"Mother Father. Please can I come to platform 9 3/4 with you?" I asked them in a pleading voice. I really wanted to wave Draco off.
"No Sophia. We discussed this with you yesterday. Serverus Snape is looking after you whilst me and your mother take Draco." I was NEVER really fond of Snape. His face was so expressionless and he would never play games with me. He would just sit in one
Of many drawing rooms reading The Daily Prophet. He was just so boring.Fifteen minutes later, Draco came downstairs wearing Hogwarts robes. He came up to me and hugged me.
"I will really miss you Sophie." He looked like he was going to cry. This is Draco were talking about. He never cried.
"Will you owl me every week?" I asked him.
"Of course I will." We hugged one last time before we were torn apart by father.
"No time for this now. Serverus has just arrived and we need to go now." Father, always there to spoil fun.
"Oh ok, bye then." I said putting on a fake smile.
Then they left. That would be the last time I see Draco in a year..."Serverus." I said to him breaking the awkward silence that had been in the air for around half an hour.
"What?" He finally looked up from The Daily Prophet.
"Can I go and get an apple from the kitchen." I asked him. I was starving since I hadn't had anything to eat all morning with all the rushing around and it was dinner time.
"OK. " he told me returning back to the newspaper.Of it went roaming the halls of Malfoy Manor. I turned around many turns before I arrived at the Kitchen.
Dobby, the house elf, was in there rushing around to get dinner ready for exactly the time when mother and father came home. He saw me and walked to me.
"What would mistress Malfoy like from the kitchen." He asked me so politely.
"A green apple." I spoke so Rudely. That's the way I was taught to speak to people lower than my own.A few minutes later, he came back with a green apple in his hand. I just snatched it from him and left. I was walking down the hallway when I came across a door I had never seen before.
'That's strange' I thought to myself.
My curiosity got the better of me. I turned the knob not knowing what was inside could change my life forever...
