In 1943, the owner of a diner, in a small town in Iowa, ran out of meat on a busy day. His solution was to kill the waitress and cook her.
He then fed her to all of the locals who ordered meat. He was caught and sentenced to first degree murder. Twelve of the consumers got severe illnesses.
