Chapter 9: What?

Aleks' P.O.V

"James! Are you in here?!" I called out in the abandoned house that Eddie, Seamus, and I were in down the block from my house.

"Aleks, why would James be here?" Seamus asked me putting a hand on his hip.

"Look, I don't know. I-I just want him back, I don't know why he had to be taken but he was. Just keep looking, please." I said looking at him with my puppy dog eyes, pouting my bottom lip slightly.

He sighed and walked to another part of the house.

"Aleks,can I speak with you for a second?" Eddie asked me and I nodded as we walked into another room that I could identify as a little kids room because of the dolls hung up on the wall. They creeped me out really fucking bad but I didn't say anything.

"Aleks, please don't get mad."

"Why would I get mad? There's no reason for me to be mad."

He sighed rubbing his face with the palm of his right hand, "I think I was the reason that James was taken away."

I stared at him trying to process what he meant. "W-why would you-"

"Remember how I said I was special? Well, I was assigned a mission the years I was gone, I had to look for this punk that was going around town terrorizing people. He or she must've heard I was looking for him and he decided to take James to draw me into him."

I was feeling mixed emotions right now, anger and sadness, I wanted to punch Eddie but at the same time I wanted to break down then and there.

"I- E- Fuck! God Fucking DAMNIT!" I let the anger over take me and I threw a punch at his stomach. He fell with his back to the floor holding his stomach trying to breathe.

"Aleks! I'm sorry, I didn't think they would do this! I didn't know they would take one of you! I wish they wouldn't have but they did and know we need to look for James, wether you're pissed or sad you're gonna fucking pull yourself together and we're gonna look for him."

Seamus ran through the door, "Hey, uhm I heard yelling. Are y'all alright?"

"Yeah, we're peachy but we're having a conversation so can you like wait outside? We'll be out in a bit." I said getting a little impatient, I shouldn't have talked like that to him.

"O-okay.." He slowly backed out of the door way and walked down the hallway. We waited till we heard the front door shut and we continued with our conversation.

"How do you think we can find him, huh?"

"Look, certain powers that'll help us okay? I just need to find away to pass them to you."

I stared in shock, what the hell does he mean pass them to me?!

"I need to get you back to where I was at. Where they had taken me and pass them on to you."

I stared at him longer, he was shaking. He didn't crack a smile or anything. He was serious about this and I wasn't sure if I could handle it.

"Where is this 'place' at?" I asked moving a strand of my bangs out from my eyes.

"It's in the outskirts of town, where all the buildings start to disappear and it all turns to desert."

I sighed, "All the way out there? How do you remember this?"

"Once they added the 'powers' I could remember anything that happened that day like if we just did it."

I wanted to hit the wall so bad but I couldn't I needed to stay strong and find James, even with these newly found things I need to find him. We walked outside and told Seamus where we were heading, Eddie was bound to tell him sometime this ride and he will or I do it.

We were half way to our destination and that's when Seamus decided to ask where we were heading. I nudged Eddie in the ribs, he gave me a pissed off look like he wanted to me to say it, I was willing to say it. If he didn't bitch out and think that Seamus wouldn't like him anymore, hell even I was terrified of him but I didn't say anything because he's my friend.

"We're--we're heading to a-a uhm, a...warehouse."

He looked back at me through the mirror, "Why?"

"We need to see someone there." I said looking at him aswell.

"O-okay then." The rest of the ride we stayed quiet, the only thing Eddie said was where to turn.

"Eddie what you mean that you want to transfer powers to this kid?" The young, tall light pink haired Asian man asked. He wore white skinny jeans, black hightops, along with a white scientist lab coat. I noticed he had several piercings on his ear. Why the hell would they hire someone like this?? His English wasn't very good and I could barely tell what he said but I understood.

"I'm not a kid. You look like one too."

"Still, you look like kid."

"Says the one with pink colored hair."

"How old are you?" He asked putting his hand on his hip, with an impatient look on his face.

"Why does that matter? I'm eighteen."

"I am not kid. I am twenty five."

The hell, did he just want to prove a point? I snickered, "Are you gonna transfer them or not?"

"Why do you need them?"

"The kid that went around town causing havoc took our friend."

He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly, "Fine, come."

A month and a half  later       Eddie's P.O.V

"Eddie, I can't do this." I rolled my eyes at the punk infront of me.

"Yes you can Aleksandr, I thought we've been over this already." He put his hand to his side, taking it off of the dumby infront of him.

"No, I can't! Everytime I do this, I sart to feel weird. If this was a real person I wouldn't be able to do it."

"Do you want to find James or not?" I asked knowing I triggered him.

"YES, I DO. I REALLY FUCKING DO. BUT IT'S BEEN OVER A GODDAMN MONTH. I LOST HOPE. HE, HE MUST'VE LOST HOPE!" He sat on the floor putting his head between his knees. "It's been over a month. We don't know where he is."

"Aleks, I know we don't but we'll find him. I promise you, we'll find him."

"How are we going to even get a clue of w-"

"Guys! The news hurry come back inside!" Seamus called to us from the backdoor porch.

I looked back at Aleks and he had a worried expression on his face.

We both ran back inside, and saw the news on a live reporter.

"We have breaking news live from downtown Colorado. Two criminals have just broken into a hospital, taking several antibiotics, we still don't know why they need them but they also took other major medical supplies. The security cameras caught their faces, the first is Dylan Santiago and the second criminal is known as James Wilson.

 We have police on the chase downtown south avenue. Several cops have been killed including some FBI agents. Everyone lock your doors and take good care of yourself and your kids. Be careful."

Hello guys and gals for not updating in awhile I feel like shit. But this book will be my priority for now since it only have a little more chapters to go and once I finish this I start a new AU book so yeah. Thank you for not giving up it means alot. Also if there is any mistakes i'm orry but I can't fix them right now but I will later.
