Pt. 9

James Pov.
I watched wide eyed as Adam turned to face the cliff, he looked down. Then he jumped... "Adam!" Me, Jaiden and Tim all yelled. I ran to the edge to try to catch him. But it was too late... he was gone.. Jaiden immediately called 911. They looked for what felt like hours. Jaiden grabbed my hand and said "They found him." We ran down and found him. When we found him he looked as if he was mauled by a bear. The hoodie he was wearing was ripped to shreads, barely intact. What was left of his hoodie was soaking with  blood. The sweatpants he was wearing were now a dark red from the blood had soaked them. As I looked up towards his face, I nearly screamed. It was barely Recognisable through the  blood covering his face.
The only thing keeping him up right was a stick through his chest and out his back. The stick was jagged and I could see were the stick had broke. The parts of his body that were visable were covered in small cuts. The knife he had was stuck in his leg, cutting his sweatpants, that were already torn from his fall. When Jaiden and Tim had seen what I had seen they gasped in shock. I put both hands over my mouth to keep in my small sobs. Tears streaming down my cheeks as I looked over his body.. The paramedics had to put him on a gurney sideways because of the stick lodged in his chest. "Hey, you know him, like his boyfriend or something?" The paramedic said slowly. "Yeah I'm his boyfriend.." I said quietly. "Right, You riding with us?" He asked. I nodded and got in the ambulance watching Adam lay there. He was breathing even if it was barely. He had a breathing mask over his face. He was alive.. That day.. I was so happy he was alive.. that's all I could have asked. We got to the hospital and doctors and nurses came up to his side talking about the stick lodged in his chest. One nurse stayed behind. "Sweety, we're going to do surgery on him so just sit here and I'll come and get you when he Is stable mmkay?" He said calmly. "Okay.." I said quietly. Jaiden and Tim came to sit beside me. "James are you sure your going to stay here?" Jaiden asked. "Yes.. I'm not leaving until they say he's okay." I said. "Okay, then we'll stay here with you." Tim said. A doctor came up to me and asked "Do you know his parents?" I shook my head. Based on what he's told me about them I don't want to. "Do you think you can get a hold of them?" He said. I nodded and said "Yeah I'll try" I remebered Adams phone on the table beside my bed. I ask Tim to go get it. He came back and said "I ran into your parents and siblings.. they're on there way." "Shit." I say quietly. I took Adams phone out of Tims hands. I unlocked it. Luckily he doesn't have a password. I went to his contacts and found his mom and dad's numbers. I called them twice. Still no answer. I called again and his mother picked up. "Hello?" She said. "Hello, I am James Rallison one of Adams friends.. I hate to be the one to say this but your son is in the hospital.." I said nervously. "Which one?" She said calmly. She's not even concerned a bit, what a female dog. I told her what hospital he was in and hung up. I turned to Jaiden and said "She didn't even sound Fucking concered." I said harshly. "Maybe she was just shocked." Tim said. Yeah no. She wasn't shocked she wasn't concerned. A doctor came and told us that Adam had been moved to the third floor. He wasn't awake but he looked better. I sat there and watched his steady breathing. My parents and siblings walked in. I stood up and walked over to sit on the bed beside Adam. My parents stood in the corner watching me and Adam. Faith stopped and stared in shock at Adam. He looked terrible but at least he was alive.. something I will always be greatful for. His mom walked in and stared at him, mouth dropping. She went over to him. "How did this happen?" She asked quietly. We hesitated but told her what happened. She just stared a blank look on her face. "Oh.. My sweet baby.. I'm so sorry." She said looking down.
"No....you're not...." We all looked up at Adam as those words left his mouth. He was awake..
